I think affirmative action has run it's course. It has opened the eyes of a few dimwitted folks out there to the realization that color or status had nothing to do with if they were qualified for the job.

Will Meritocracy takes it's place?

Could you imagine, hiring someone ONLY based on if they were qualified for the position?

Harris was really their only option. I also read she was the only one that could tap into the 200m raised for Biden's campaign.

Affirmative action has already started to be phased out. There is a responsible way to do it over 5 or 8 years, which is hopefully what they will choose. People will need time to adjust.
