There's an easy solution to the problem that neither party likes because the dirt secret is that they both like cheap labor.

If you punish the people hiring them and there's no work because they can't be hired they stop coming. There's a 0.0% chance that happens though.

I can take you to a couple very large corporate farms in Ohio where we could round up several hundred illegals in less than an hour.
Yea, and not just farms

Meating packing plants in Nebraska and restaurants in DFW and Houston are also hot spots for illegal labor

Its systemic throughout our Union

Both parties turn a blind eye to the problem
whom in the heck do you think cooks your food, even at fancy joints. Latinos (mostly not legal). Not saying it is right, just stating the facts.
Where is your documentation on those "facts"? I know a lot of chefs, none of them would hire an illegal to "cook your food".
my documentation is that I have a culinary degree and know people in most kitchens in Dallas from Bar and Grill types to fancy pants. mostly the line cooks are Latino (mostly undocumnnted, except for chain restos. You really only get fully documented apprentices (all colors) in Michelin Stared Restos. They can pay those folks when a table of 4 is $1500 and up. I'm also in the biz. I'm a partner in a local brewery in Dallas , so I think I have a really good feel for this issue.
First of all, we are talking illegals, not fully documented. You said "even at fancy joints", places that have true chefs. I say that it's BS. Just as you just agreed to. Tell me which bar and grills so-called chefs would hire illegal aliens. Please. Let folks know so they know what is going on in the kitchens they frequent so we can avoid them. These illegals have no place in any industry where folks health can be manipulated. You need to report them to ICE immediately. And please make note of your local brewery so everyone can avoid it as you seem to ignore health issues, documented with the undocumented.

Add, that when your brewery fails as you hired criminals to work for pittances, please pledge here and now to hire hard working legal documented and Americans for it. Shame on you for taking advantage of America
firstly , I would never put any particular names on the internet that may or may not hire illegal line cooks. Secondly, you sir are well out of your element here. Secondly, bar and grills to NOT have "chefs" as you said. They have line cooks. (no Michelin/Brigades) in those places, so that tells me what you do not understand how restaurants work. 3rdly, I appreciate your sentiments wishing me to fail.(most profitable one in town, btw) How thoughtful of you, particularly since I only remarked I have interests in said brewery. We DO NOT hire illegals and I never said anything remotely close. 4th, it isn't my job to report anyone when I have no skin in their game. You think the good ladies (usually) singing amazing tacos and the small taco shops are legal? lol.
I do not post anything that I do not understand the subject. Perhaps , you should stick to what you know.
Why would you not list the names of places that hire illegals when I just pointed out the transmittable diseases that many of them carry? If you know them, and folks die or get TB or HIV from it, doesnt that make you, at least morally, complacent?

And you said "I'm a partner in a local brewery in Dallas , so I think I have a really good feel for this issue." in a discussion about illegals in the industry. How could someone not think that you were hiring criminals to do your dirty work?

And I co-owned a restaurant in... SOUTH TEXAS of all places. I know what happens when you bring in folks without paperwork - and the cartel is behind it. We dealt with the ramifications of firing these folk, when we found documents the documents were forged just to get them hired, with the Juarez Cartel back then. So I do have some experience in this, probably not as much as you as you appeared to, wither you hired them, or at least looked the other way, while others did.

Fess up to the names. You will feel better in the morning.
BTW - My old restaurant in South Texas, although I no longer own it, is still a restaurant, a Tex-Mex one. https://eldoradorestaurant.com/

Ask the liberals in Sweden how open borders is working for them. Their culture that they take an insane amount of pride in is in danger of being wiped out by Islam.

Hate to see it. Gotta love it. Liberals: they get what they deserve.

The invading army is the mass number of illegals. It is a paradigm shift and we need to recognize it. Warfare has drastically changed over the centuries. The Huns used horse archers. Henry III implemented the longbow. Sultan Mehmed II used artillery.

When facing an enemy you cannot conquer by having your guys outmatch their guns, you turn to other tactics and methods.

All over the globe, the southern countries know they cannot 'take over' any other the developed North. They have stated that they will do it through immigration and population growth - obliterating the cultures of the countries they are invading. Don't just look at us. Sweden is the best example. Those liberal idiots invited Islam into their country and now the Muslims have a large population and are making demands that parts of Swedish Culture cease because it is offensive to a large segment of the 'Swedish Population.' My old foreign exchange student was very very liberal... annoyingly so. She and her family all had to vote 'right' in the last election because of the lament of the loss of Sweden.

If you don't open your eyes, you won't know your nation, its values and freedoms, and culture are gone until its too late.

They are the invading army. America has opened their eyes. Get on board.

There is no invading army. You can call desperate refugees an army if it makes it easier for you to want to deport them all. But they don't resemble an army. Further attack on the dictionary imo, a dunce attempt at reducing a large complex problem into a black and white issue.
What is the difference between immigrants and refugees?

The main difference is choice. Simply speaking, a migrant is someone who chooses to move, and a refugee is someone who has been forced from their home.

You are correct, I meant refugee as in people largely seeking a better place to live. Not the way the government defines it. Yes many of these people are not physically or violently forced out of their homes, they are simply leaving run down ****holes with no prospects, for the greatest country on the planet.

Our government will not call a mother who is fleeing a Mexican town where men are trying to rape her child daughters a refugee, but to me, she is certainly seeking refuge.

I will just say 1 more thing, it isn't an invasion, but at least Trump's plan is something. The numbers of illegals are not an invasion of the past 4 years, but in reality decades of Congress and many Presidents punting the ball all the way to 2024.

The majority of America does not think mass deportation is the best solution, imo, but that it is the only solution that anyone is willing to attempt. It is either Trump's way, or continue as normal.

I hope it is a major reset, and that we can put ourselves in a position where mass deportations never need to happen again. There is also work that needs to be done on speeding up green card processing, migrant/refugee hearings, of course securing the border, but maybe most of all, making sure we are not party to making these countries the illegals are fleeing, any worse because of our actions. No sense in the mass deportations if half the 30 million are back in a year.

1. Yes it has been an invasion....pretty unprecedented really. Possible 8-10 million people over our borders in just 4 years. Just 48 months....100k to 200k a month crossing over and settling in our cities and towns.

Wild

2. Yes we know that Congress and lots of Presidents have turned a blind eye....they all like the cheap labor.

3. A majority of Americans...including Latino men....favor mass deportations

Well, when whatever country you are trying to send these "20 million" back to refuses to let whatever method (bus, plane, etc.) in, we'll really be 100% supporting illegal immigrants with our tax dollars. Or did you folks think these nations are just going to take them back without resistance, or let you enter their sovereign country and drop them off like Abbott did?

Better than arguing about the term "invasion"….just amid you don't care if millions of 3rd world peoples settle in America (or the Western world)

To most patriotic natives who have long opposed that kind of thing it's an invasion

Even if the corrupt political class conspires with the invaders to help them settle in the new land and possibly one day take over

You are wrong, the majority of people do favor deportations of illegals.

You've been brainwashed by the media to believe their special brand of information. Main street People have always been for closing the border, just legal entry only and deporting illegals. They wanted it badly during Trump's first term, and the media went into full protection and lying mode, the best being the "Walls don't work" nonsense that I'm sure you bought into as well.

Previously in the 90's, most of the people that were against "mass deportation" were thinking about the logistics, too costly. But the majority of people have always wanted the border to be enforced. Globalist Politicians and the media made up the narrative so they could justify the mass immigration, and the progressive voters just jump on board despite how senseless it is.

I guess this is one way to start a war (trade or real) with China, or even countries like India who aren't our enemy.

Doesn't matter though. The hearings alone will require 20 years of court time. Expediting that would be a meaningful DOJ purpose instead of a revenge tour.

Cheap slave labor. Doesnt want to pay Americans higher (real) wages. Of course he doesnt. Greed at the sacrifice of the Nation's safety and culture.

How much more in pay will it take to get Americans to work in the fields?

I will just say 1 more thing, it isn't an invasion, but at least Trump's plan is something. The numbers of illegals are not an invasion of the past 4 years, but in reality decades of Congress and many Presidents punting the ball all the way to 2024.

The majority of America does not think mass deportation is the best solution, imo, but that it is the only solution that anyone is willing to attempt. It is either Trump's way, or continue as normal.

The dictionary matters. You call it an invasion because it makes it into a friend v foe situation that small minds can understand.
invasion

/invZH()n/

[an incursion by a large number of people or things into a place or sphere of activity.

"stadium guards are preparing for another invasion of fans"]

[an unwelcome intrusion into another's domain.

"random drug testing of employees is an unwarranted invasion of privacy"]

Fans might invade a stadium. Armies invade countries.

Also that is one heck of a cherry picked definition. Not Merriam Webster!
Quote:

1
: an act of invading
especially : incursion of an army for conquest or plunder
2
: the incoming or spread of something usually hurtful

Better than arguing about the term "invasion"….just amid you don't care if millions of 3rd world peoples settle in America (or the Western world)

To most patriotic natives who have long opposed that kind of thing it's an invasion

Even if the corrupt political class conspires with the invaders to help them settle in the new land and possibly one day take over

Where was your definition even from? Did you make it up?
Even for you, this is an odd hill to choose to die on. You're very obviously incorrect, yet you persist. At least arguing the logistics of mass deportation gives you ground to stand on when criticizing Trump's plan, albeit not enough to sway most people's opinion on this topic. You bored or inebriated?

It's not a hill to die on. I don't mind anyone calling it an invasion, until the "invasion" is then used as a reason to deploy the military in our country. At that point, I think it is worth noting that it is not really an invasion. No foreign army is here, just decades of illegal immigration.
