About 13' x 6'. About the size of a small SUV. Sound familiar?

I've seen multiple theories on X regarding these from coming from Iranian mother ship off the coast, Project Blue Beam, a Space Force drill or exercise, to the most disconcerting that they are looking for nuclear device.
Obviously Iranian rumor is ridiculous, Blue Beam, who cares. Exercise, possible. If it is the last and they are searching for a nuclear device, God help us. Had a long discussion yesterday with a friend on various topics including this one and we both came around to God is sovereign and whatever happens we/I choose to trust his ultimate plan.

Simply have to believe our military or related defense contractors are testing these drones and they are not dangerous or sinister to Americans in any way.

If that is true, what is the harm in coming clean with the public about it?

Maybe it's a couple of 18 year old Navy kids operating them (illegally) off a Navy destroyer?

Some military types believe ( with some justification ) civilians are too stupid to bother with. As answering one question often brings on a slew of more questions.

Here are a couple of interesting reports and theories:

https://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2024/12/dronegate_ballooning_out_of_control.html

https://www.wnd.com/2024/12/very-serious-are-mystery-drones-hunting-for-a-hidden-radioactive-bomb-new-reports-make-bombshell-claim/

As long as the govt remains silent, people will speculate.

This post is absolute gold because of how true it is.

Is it completely out of the question that it could be some network of drone enthusiasts playing a prank?

The drones are clearly federal. I can only think of a couple of reasons that they won't address them other than to say that they're not a threat. 1) I suspect that they are classified high tech looking for something serious such as wmd or assassin manhunt. Or 2) there's a benefit to them maintaining this tactic of not answering the questions, perhaps a distraction of some sort for the media and masses, perhaps hoping to to draw fire from some of "Rednecks".
Sure they could be testing, but I suspect the risk of losing one escalates as the public feel threatened.

The current theory being posited by some is that the drones are looking for a gas leak, radioactive material, etc. nothing surprises me anymore, so I could see it

Some sites are saying that the drones are nuclear sniffers looking for this:

https://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/doc-collections/event-status/event/2024/20241213en.html

While they may be nuclear sniffers (possibly searching for one or more dirty bombs smuggled in over the open southern border anytime during the last 4 years) this lost "that a Ge-68 pin source that they sent for disposal has been lost in transit on December 2, 2024. The source is a Eckert & Ziegler model HEGL-0132, with current approximate activity of 0.267 mCi." is not why. Less than category 3 (4 or 5) would not be weaponizable.

Categories of Radiation Sources

The International Atomic Energy Agency's Code of Conduct on the Safety and Security of Radioactive Sources defines the five categories for radiation sources to help ensure that sufficient controls are being used to achieve safety and security:
  • Category 1 sources, if not safely or securely managed, would be likely to cause permanent injury to a person who handled them or was otherwise in contact with them for more than a few minutes. It would probably be fatal to be close to this amount of unshielded material for a period of a few minutes to an hour. These sources are typically used in radiothermal generators, irradiators, and radiation teletherapy.
  • Category 2 sources, if not safely or securely managed, could cause permanent injury to a person who handled them or was otherwise in contact with them for a short time (minutes to hours). It could possibly be fatal to be close to this amount of unshielded radioactive material for a period of hours to days. These sources are typically used in industrial gamma radiography, high- and medium-dose rate brachytherapy, and radiography.
  • Category 3 sources, if not safely or securely managed, could cause permanent injury to a person who handled them or was otherwise in contact with them for hours. It could possiblyalthough it is unlikely tobe fatal to be close to this amount of unshielded radioactive material for a period of days to weeks. These sources are typically used in fixed industrial gauges such as level gauges, dredger gauges, conveyor gauges, spinning pipe gauges, and well-logging gauges.
  • Category 4 sources, if not safely managed or securely protected, could possibly cause temporary injury to someone who handled them or was otherwise in contact with or close to them for a period of many weeks, though this is unlikely. It is very unlikely anyone would be permanently injured by this amount of radioactive material. These sources are typically used in fixed or portable gauges, static eliminators, or low-dose brachytherapy.
  • Category 5 sources cannot cause permanent injury. They are used in x-ray fluorescence devices and electron capture devices.

Or perhaps they are exercises preceeding a CIA/FBI drone strike on DJT since the math club shooter and the Ukrainian recruiter failed in their assassination attempts.

I'm inclined to believe they're sweeping for a rogue nuke, dirty bomb or radiological outbreaks because they're being seen over critical infrastructure, military installations, Trump's properties, and the Capitol building in Washington DC.

It would explain a lot and if you watch the livestreams of the House Hearings it is clear they cannot tell the local elected officials everything. However, I would not put it past the government to pull a stunt like this to cry about budget deficits on handling drones.

I remember seeing videos on Twitter back in November of 2019 of people falling down ill in China and some grumblings about a virus and then Covid happened. The timing and media reporting is similar in that there's reports of an unknown threat. An invisible enemy that's unprecedented, nothing like it. Hoping this doesn't get out of control and lead to another advancement of police state tactics and exercises on the public like Covid was.

There were exercises similar to this in virus outbreaks just before Covid: https://www.energy.gov/nnsa/articles/nnsa-working-federal-state-and-local-partners-hold-major-radiological-incident

Normally, I would be 100% certain it is a mix of:
1. U.S. military testing
2. PsyOp to get more power funding
3. Exaggerated hoax

But these are the idiots that let the Chinese spy on us for months without a response.
