* * Something Dad Said

I was thinking about something my dad used to tell me before he passed. Every 25-40ish years, there has traditionally been a major conflict. Sometimes only in parts of the world but certainly that has applied in US history. The Revolution, War of 1812, Civil War, Spanish-American War, WWI, WWII, Korean War, etc.

And I've posted here more than once that liberal to conservative (as we know them today), back and forth, have happened over and over throughout history. Every few decades in many societies, there is a cosmic shift.

Now Dad's idea shifted in the 70/80's when Vietnam/Cuba/Communism was stunted by the growth of the nuclear and other world-smashing bombs, IMO. We were involved in very little worldwide until Afghanistan which wasn't really huge compared to the others. And with that, we moved to focus inward and forgot about most of the world, and the shift toward conservatism was stunted, with very little participation in world politics.

So we went into the liberal cesspool for many years. And I hate to say it but GWB didn't help. And I like George! Anyway the world followed suit once George Soros created the One World Order, knowing how easy it was to manipulate and control liberal politicians.

However a couple of good things did come out of the recent liberal period, conservatives became more open to different ideas, including more open ideas on women and race. Conservatives grew past those perceived boundaries. And now not only are women and various races huge parts of conservatives, but they play important parts.

I fully expect this movement to last at least the next couple of decades, probably more as the leftist-purchased media continues to fail and social media takes its place. And it is happening worldwide. As America goes, so goes the world.

This is just a theory of mine, right or wrong.

Add, I also except from swings from career politicians, like the Dallas Mayor, from Democrat to Republican. Senators and House too

Would make sense on the timing as most peoples careers are 20-40 years long. Once the previous generation is retired the new one forgets the lessons learned.
