You may question his motives to a degree, but let's be clear here, he absolutely cares about righting this sinking ship. He has put himself at great risk of death in order to do so. He's a slicksalesman, but he's also a fighter, and his policies have been very good for the average Joe.

They are sucking up to him because he is about to investigate and expose all of them for their corruption. It's not because they care about him, believe me. They HATE his GUTS. They are trying to influence him and soften him. That's what they do with all Politicians and it works usually. It's corruption. Maybe Trump shouldn't be taking the money. Not sure why he is....
