So you got "peaceful protest" from "block him from taking power"? No wonder you believed the BLM riots were mere peaceful protests.Porteroso said:
As long as they peacefully protest, there won't be an issue. Protesting the new President happens just about every 4 years, going back centuries. You'd think some of you were toddlers.

A political movement called "14th Now" has been holding protests in Washington, D.C., from Friday to Sunday, gathering at Franklin Park and the Lincoln Memorial.
"Donald J. Trump, an adjudicated insurrectionist, remains constitutionally DISQUALIFIED from assuming the presidency under Section 3 of the Fourteenth Amendment. Congress must honor their oaths by objecting to his electoral votes on January 6. Peacefully, WE THE PEOPLE demand that they do," a blurb from the movement's website reads.

Sure, they can peacefully protest, I see no issue with it at all.
But, R's have been condemned for "election denying" for years, way way before Jan. 6th.
So again, what is wrong for the goose, should be considered wrong for the gander.
So you support folks who actively deny the results of a fair, democratic election?Porteroso said:

Sure. Because they plan on holding signs and yelling at the sky to block him. They certainly don't plan to behave as they did during his first inaugurationPorteroso said:Wangchung said:So you got "peaceful protest" from "block him from taking power"? They want Congress to block him from office based upon the law and their interpretation of J6. I fully support their right to have their own interpretation of that horrible event, and to peacefully protest.
Why are you guys always feigning shock when I support people's rights? That's all I ever do. Talk about Americans having ridiculous freedom and huge, just huge numbers of rights.
It is simply alternate reality to claim that he organized or incited a riot. He simply didn't. He even told to them to peacefully march.Porteroso said:Harrison Bergeron said:So you support folks who actively deny the results of a fair, democratic election?Porteroso said:

Trump won, no question about it, but you and your ilk want to use the very tools you claimed were unAmerican in 2021.
Just stop pretending you are anything but a hater and a fraud.

Instead, this is an agenda, based on falsehood, to try and deny him his duly elected position. And that is simply all this is.
I certainly support their right to protest him. Not to create a false narrative, as the New York court created to convict him of a felony. This is simply a bogus attempt to deny Trump the presidency.
The election is over. None of your rhetoric here resonated with the American voters.elayer said:

Imagine supporting a party whose policies are so out of touch with Americans that they voted for a twice impeached, election denying felon instead.
Says a lot more about you than Trump voters.
A couple of points. These guys are not denying the election results. Rather, they are saying Trump is disqualified under the Constitution (Amendment 14) from holding the office. If Elon Musk is elected in 2028, I'll be joining a similar group, so long as Article 2 is still in effect. You probably will too.Forest Bueller III said:

Exactly what they did the first Trump inauguration. I think the cold will slow them down. They may wait until the 20th to act out.FLBear5630 said:Wangchung said:Sure. That is the crux of the matter, they.can ask for whatever they want. They can demonstrate all they want. Follow the law, don't break into Congress, don't threaten Congress, don't attack Capital Police. Really low bar to ask and demonstrate.
Let's see what happens today. Gonna be a blizzard today, so that will limit people willing to go.
