What the hell is Trump thinking? He has no freaking business telling the Intel CEO to resign, Telling Coke what type of sweetener to use. Now this gem! Telling the Goldman Sach CEO (who is worldly expected) to fire their chief economist because Trumps did not like his assertion that Trumps tariffs would impact the consumer. ***? Mr. Soloman should tell Trumps to go eff himself. When does this authority insanity stop. This is no free market capitalism. Trump is just horrible.
Now he is calling for the CEO of Goldman to resign. What a loon. I'd say 90% Goldman Bankers, PE and traders are way smarter than fat boy.

LOL here's the part you missed - any economist who tells you tariffs cause inflation is not worth keeping on the payroll. Inflation is caused when the supply of money exceeds the supply of goods. Please explain how tariffs create an increase in the supply of money
Price increases caused by supply/demand forces are NOT inflation.
Geez.....

But just because governments don’t want the dollar doesn’t mean their citizens don’t.
In fact…most people around the world want dollars really badly.
So where do stablecoins come in?
— WOLF (@WOLF_Financial) August 13, 2025
The overwhelming majority of stablecoins worldwide are already backed by dollars.
Beyond that, bills like the Stable Act and laws like the GENIUS Act require stablecoin issuers to…
Maintain a 1:1 reserve in either U.S. Treasuries or cash…

My wife has all of the series licenses and exclusively trades our portfolio. This is her full time job. She is smart as they come and I consider her an expert. As of to date this year, our portfolio is out performing the market 4x. Here I was thinking that was amazing until I saw Khanna's numbers. It makes me sick as to what one can get away with if there is no trading oversight in Congress. Sheesh.

You would have more cred right now, if you had not been so wrong about what condition our economy would be right now.
So our economy is booming? Please tell us more. I sure wish the Donald would send me that tariff rebate check he has been promising!
Yep, it's Trumps fault you chose to retire early.
Actually, Joe Biden and the Covid cluster **** convinced me to retire early. My only regret is I didn't do it sooner.
Back to my question. Do you think the economy is booming right now? A simple yes or no will do. You shouldn't feel attacked or insulted by the question.
I think the economy is neither booming nor crashing.
Not defensive....merely weary of your hysterics. Been ongoing since last spring.
However if mortgage rates do not drop to at least 5.5 % by the end of the year. the economy could be slumping the 1st quarter of 2026.
Dems know this....so they will fight rate any drop before the end of 2025.
Actually, I am hoping Powell cuts rates 1/4 to a 1/2 point in September due to obvious weakness in the economy. A jump in inflation will put the FED in a very tough spot. Weak job growth coupled with rising inflation.
Tomorrow should be pretty comical. The Consumer Price Index comes out and it will show accelerating inflation.(Who saw that coming?) Trump will raise Hell and fly off the handle claiming the inflation numbers are fake!
Biden's economic albatross was the Inflation Reduction Act. Trump's economic albatross is his tariffs. Both will end up yielding the same net result.
RD2,
Did this happen???
Nobody is happier than me that the CPI numbers came in cooler than expected. Inflation up only slightly. The markets are booming.
Laissez les bon temps rouler!
RD2,
I am curious how you came up with your prediction as you were very confident that accelerated inflation was gonna be in those numbers.
