Building myths on Politico reports now?
On cue, the janitor of Trumplandia arrives.
Out of curiosity, when did you start letting The View post here for you?
Sick burn…
Admittedly not on the level as your suggestion that my MBA and accounting career only rate a janitor role ...
When I was at Deloitte, I'd always say don't trust them MBAs. How did I know? I was one of them. I had insider information.
I went back for my MBA after working for 13 years. There were a few of us who sat together in the classes, having a good chuckle at some of the things professors sold as the coming trend in Management, Logistics and Supply.
The kiddos who went for their MBA right after getting their Bachelors' would ask us what was so funny. We'd just tell them 'wait and see'. A lot of things sold as new and groundbreaking in class had been tried and failed by real businesses years before.
That's not to say we didn't learn some useful tools, but a grain of salt is an important part of any scholarly diet.
My niece is 20. Graduated last week in Accounting. Has an offer at PWC in New York. Can get Dallas next year. She's decided to get her MBA. I wanted her to wait five years and land at Wharton or Chicago. I understand why she's doing what she's doing but as you know, the experience matters.
