Cancer treatment is not a power move. Not being able to get a drug because you can't afford it is not a power move. My sister in law can ONLY get the pancreatic cancer meds as part of a study, if she is accepted, because it is too expensive. The great pancreatic cancer drugs the fake news reports, none of us common folk can't afford. Bet Jared and Ivanka can... And don't tell me it doesn't happen. I sat in the office with the oncologist.

My medication is up to $480 a month with insurance, not cancer med. While the CEO of the hospital make 2m a year. The ER is full because there is no option for them without insurance or a credit card. That is happening everyday, it is not "Fake News". That is private health care. Government has nothing to do with it, Insurance companies and peope like Sen. Rick Scott. Read up on him, the great conservative stalwart...

I have never voted D in my life. Trump and his crowd actually have me considering it. I am not interested in Authoritarian government with one person having total control. If the Dem's run a Shapiro or Beashear or Kelly I will give them a shot. We survived Authoritarian Trump and Progressive Biden time to let a Centrist Democrat take a shot.

We will see, if it is Vance vs Harris or Newsome I am skipping this one and may follow KaiBear to New Zealand!

Better start looking harder at your choices for Congress. Only Congress can take back their power. New members need to be elected who aren't afraid to take risks when it really counts, not just speak about doing stuff, or just say controversial stuff. Vote the country's best interest and not the party's or the next election cycle's.

To get those, there needs to be one of two things:
1) more new people involved in the current parties that think the same way
2) a new party.

My thinking about such things has nothing to do with Trump. It's based upon an understanding of politics, economics, socialism in particular, and the history of each. I understand Marxism and capitalism (fantasy vs reality) and I know how radical Marxists lie, cheat, & steal to take power and then terrorize the people to maintain their iron grip. It has happened repeatedly over history and in the 20th century was responsible for the deaths of over 100 million people.

I have no doubt whatsoever that people like Hasan Piker, Zoran Mamdani, AOC, Bernie Sanders, etc would have no qualms with doing the same if they thought they could succeed. Heck, some of these radicals openly talk about such things. One of the lesser known commies actually advocated bringing back ovens for people who oppose them.

I have no problem with people getting treatment for cancer or any other ailment. My problem is when the government controls it. Socialized medicine, like everything else socialized, inevitably results in rationing and people NOT getting the care they need. In Canada today, the MAID program keeps expanding whereby the government helps people commit suicide. The reality is the health care professionals are killing people. They are doing it to people of all ages, including children, and for various reasons, including some that are trivial. It's not the scale of the Nazis, yet, but it's done pretty openly. This is evil and scary.

We know American Leftists want the same because they sometimes talk about it and some blue states are implementing similar programs.
