Vivek did a good job in Woke, Inc describing how all such noise in the corporate sector is by and large just another way of generating profits. Go check their marketing in the US vs, say, Saudi Arabia.

Business schools have required business ethics courses so that people could learn the right way & wrong way to engage in business practices. I don't know if they are always required, if they teach ethics based on legitimate standards, or to what extent people take them seriously. This seems to illustrate their need.
