That much of our society is so flagrantly racist towards white people is the result of decades of dishonest propaganda from the entertainment industry, leftist teachers and especially the legacy media.

What do you think about mostly whites leap frogging over black refugees who have waited for months and years? Can you understand why it certainly seems racist to other people, just the opposite type of racism?

Seems a lot of subjectivity and Patronage. Pendulum swung too much opposite. I am a data guy, come up with a transparent methodology and follow it.

Trump is 100% transactional. Biden was 100% political. Can't we get a decent person in charge? It has been a parade of crap since Bush Sr. Seems no standards, all agenda driven.

I like the idea of having a 100% transactional President. That is how it should always be. We shouldnt be throwing away free handouts to countries like Ukraine and Israel.

My point is that Clinton's "accomplishments" had little to do with him and more to do with others and with circumstances. I will give credit where credit is due. Clinton deserves very little.

You will give credit if you like the person. Also, you will give the person a pass, if you like them. If you dont it does not matter. Trump is a changed man. Even though if you look at how he governed. He has spent like Biden, not worked with Congress, and not come close to balancing the budget. Clinton did all the things you profess to want. But...

Historically, I will give credit to people I don't like. It's the only honest way to go.

It might be emotionally honest, but leads to intellectual dishonesty. "Like" is subjective and one of the furthest things from "factual" or "objective."

Of course "like" is subjective. I could say, "people I agree with" but it means the same thing in this context. That's the most intellectually honest way to put it. And it's perfectly capable of being factual. It is the opposite of "objective", however. Words mean things as do their accurate definitions.

For specific examples, I don't particularly like LBJ, Nixon or Carter but I can acknowledge their accomplishments as president. LBJ was crucial to passing the 1964 Civil Rights Act, one of the most important pieces of legislation in US history. Nixon's foreign policy accomplishments were real, particularly with China & aiding Israel during the Yom Kippur War. He also negotiated an end to the Vietnam War that could have succeeded. Carter was mostly a disaster but he did appoint Paul Volcker, who proved important to the economy, and he facilitated the Camp David Accords, one of the most important agreements in the Middle East in the past century. None of these examples was perfect but each was consequential despite their flaws and the presidential leadership in each case was significant.

This isn't racism toward white people. This is hypocrisy. Are we sending back migrates (even legal ones (Cubans/Hatians) or are we accepting migrants?

What allowed them to get to the front of the line ahead of Afghans who helped us in war?
You mean Old Joe was lying when he said we got out all the Americans and Allies ... interesting.

Why bother giving him definitions. He doesn't understand because he doesn't want to. The TDS 2.0 Repubs crowd here has gone crazy. They want the status quo. They'd literally be less bothered if we slowly ended up, one globalist president at a time, being just like progressive Canada.

Edit: I should have kept reading, he then went on to further prove he is using words he doesn't know how to use. Same crowd tried to call us isolationists. Clueless arguments from the crazy train. Embarrassing but TDS 2.0 gonna create drama wherever they can.

Here's an interesting article suggesting that Trump's EO might not be an example of price controls. At least that's the argument RFK Jr is making.

https://hotair.com/david-strom/2025/05/13/is-president-trumps-eo-on-drug-prices-price-control-n3802699

Something to think about. It makes a lot of sense.

Once again, socialism is parasitical: in this case socialized medicine in Europe is leeching off of our freer pharmaceutical pricing system and we Americans are being fleeced.

Don't over think it.

A wealthy country wanting to participate in the major policy initiative of your administration (reordering of world trade to reduce your trade deficit) offers you an extravagant gift. You can rejected it as nicely has you want to, but it'd still be a rejection that will diminish the offering country. Or, you could accept it as a gift to the American people, showing gratitude and respect to the cultural traditions behind the gift (Arabs & gifts are a thing), then park it somewhere and let it shine for 3yrs until you leave office, at which time it becomes a museum peace at your presidential library....(winning the competition for which president received the most expensive gift of all time). If you read between the lines, that's exactly what will happen.

Although auto insurance has become mandated by most states, it has become quite the conundrum. Many lower earners simply can no longer afford it. I read that 1 out of 4 drivers are uninsured in the U.S. Other than riding a bike, not sure what the solution is here.
