You're trying to redirect what I said. I said "he threatened their broadcasting license," which he did, and also Trump. Trump makes a lot of threats though, so that's no biggie. The big deal is the chairman of the FCC doing it.

You want to redirect "threat" into "took x y z action" and the truth is that ABC pulled the show within hours of the FCC chairman's comments. We will never know what action he was going to take. Might have been none at all, but again, the threat to take action was made.

While I like the thought of tracking poverty and hunger, when a US survey finds that 1 in 4 American children experience food insecurity…
There's an overstatement in there that is a sign of an organization losing its grip on reality to keep upping its funding.
Hopefully the data gathering will be taken up by a new group with less hyperbole. That would better serve the purpose of identifying those in dire need that truly need help.
