To answer your question, if Abbott went to any of those hypothetical places the reaction would be the same. But he would be less likely to do that because those religions are not part of our culture historically. Western culture is largely based upon Christianity which was started by Jesus christ, a Jew. None of those other religions have the same kinds of connections to our culture.
