Last two posts I don't agree with Trump. The variety of state regulation will eventually show the best ways to handle AI - without marrying our entire system to what quite possibly be could the wrong path.

Of course. Purposefully giving advantage or disadvantage based upon race is the definition of racism. Of course i am talking about intention, but I could get on board with accepting that certain extreme results would show you the intent.

Many of these countries though, did not accept this level of immigration just to oust whiteness, or do anything racist, but basically let their bleeding hearts overrule ration and thought. There is a certain level of immigration a country can gracefully accommodate, and you have to stick to that.

In my experience, if someone focuses on just one poll, it tends to be an outlier to some degree. All polls demonstrate bias to a degree, and that goes both ways. Trump has pointed to some polls he liked, and of course the Left (which includes most MSM) looks for polls which show Trump in a bad light. So saying "polling" is or is not 'reliable' kind of ignores the subjective character of many poll reports.

With that said, the economy now is a mix. Official unemployment stats say we have 4.2% unemployment right now,

Civilian unemployment rate

which is traditionally a good number, yet layoffs are way up and job seekers say the job market is very rough.

The Job Market Is In Its Worst Stretch Since The Pandemic

The price of gasoline is way down, but meat and other staple items are more expensive.

Inflation is currently at 3.0%,

Current US Inflation Rates: 2000-2025

which is not terribly bad, but again it depends on what you are trying to buy.

The Democrats are of course selling the bad news, because that would help their midterm chances, while of course the Trump Administration is selling the good news for the same reason.

Historically the party in the White House loses seats in Congress in the midterm elections, so Trump is fighting History even if all the other factors are equal.

Finally, the midterm elections are still eleven months off and there is a lot which will happen before voters actually make up their minds.

Interest rates are the very least of the current issues. It doesn't matter how low interest rates get if you don't have any money to buy stuff.

There's no possible way you deal with small to medium businesses on a daily basis and don't see how bad it is right now.

We have 3400 franchisees there are fewer than 10% with YOY sales improvements including prices increases that naturally increase sales volume.

It's head buried firmly in the sand to think things are going well. It makes 0 difference how well your 401k and investment accounts are doing if you can't afford your mortgage.

Hell we never take cash to the bank, haven't in 7 years, in the last 90 days I've bled through at least $50,000 in cash money which is the reserve funding.
