Sounds like the school counselor did a crappy job in class assignments.

Depends on the school. It could be her kids go to a school that has become majority Hispanic which could mean majority of kids don't speak English. There are a ton of schools in TX like this.

Then those school districts need to accommodate the minority white students as well.

I agree. But taking all the white, black and Hispanic kids that speak English and putting them into separate classes because they are the minority just creates ESL classes which just leads to trouble as schools are not supposed to do that anymore. Sort of like they aren't supposed to create classes for separate levels of students (above grade, on grade, below grade) anymore. Except for AP/honors type classes at high school level.

Tariffs, which are taxes upon Americans, based upon who doesn't support the takeover of Greenland? Who supports this? He is going to get his license to tariff revoked.

He does see himself like a king, to be fair to the no kings protesters. A state leader cannot "betray" the President, he takes no oath to serve the President. That's not part of the job.

Trump is expanding the power of the executive at a rate far faster than any prior President not through necessity, or carefully considered strategy, or legal acumen, but simply because he does not see himself within the framework of the Constitution. He sees himself as the most powerful figure in the world, with the most powerful military, who can do whatever he wants.

What his lovers miss is that most of this power becomes permanent, if not challenged soon enough. Congress can always claw back the President's ability to set tariff rates, or invade countries (start wars) unilaterally, but that is not the direction we are headed. Congress is content with doing less and less, bickering on social media more and more.

So we can easily see mirror possibilities with progressive Presidents. AOC tariffs countries who are not green enough. Or she decides to kidnap a conservative leader in South America who didn't veto an abortion ban.

If we don't stand against unbridled power when it is wielded by our favorite, we really don't have much room to talk when the enemy merely assumes that same power.

At this point Trump has surpassed Biden in every unconstitutional aspect. Suppression of the media, corrupt deals he profits from, less transparency, the willingness to test the Constitution in new ways.

And where is the dissent? You expect the Democrats to dissent, but one of the last ways I agreed with Republicans was the priority of the Constitution over any 1 person. Trump has broken the Republican party.

Good post Porter. I do not like the sentiments you have posted but they are absolutely the truth. Trump has now elevated himself to untouchable status. Those in his own party fear him and will not challenge him, even when he has obviously taken the wrong path on some issues. One of our last hopes is for the Supreme Court to step up and do the right thing and reign in his unrestricted power. I used to laugh at all the "dictator" references but I am not laughing any more.

Most shocking thing to me is how he is crapping on our very best allies. The bully is going to find himself and us without any friends in the world and that is scary. Trump has it in his mind that when it comes to international trade, the rest of the world can't live without us. I think he is sadly mistaken. We make up about 4.5 percent of the population. The rest of the 95.5 percent of the population will be just fine without us.
Call it a tax, the people are outraged! Call it a tariff, the people get out their checkbooks and wave their American flags!!!

Trump is doing exactly what he promised to do.

Do I agree with every single choice he has made ?

Of course not.

However for those who are so 'outraged' with Trump.....and would prefer open borders, unfair tariffs , and a whole slew of woke insanities ......vote democrat in 2028.

We did not vote for a 21st century Ghengis Khan. We did not vote for an international trade war that included our allies. Trump's aggressive military actions normalize Putin's actions a little more each day.

Donald Trump is going to "protect" Greenland from a military invasion by China or Russia by a military invasion from the United States? Give me a break!

Destroyed Irans nuclear bomb making capability. You disappointed with that ?

Sharply reduced fentanyl imports into the US…..overdoses are now down sharply…..you disappointed with that ?

Removed the dictator from Venezuela with ZERO US KIA's. You disappointed with that.

Got NATO 'allies' to pay much more toward their own defense …..you disappointed with that ?

The US military has been very impressive to a shock to nobody.

Only Trump would get the country he is threatening to invade to pay more for defense.

FBI catches more 'most wanted fugitives' in first year of Trump's second term than Biden's 4 years

"Under the leadership of President Trump, this FBI is defending the homeland, crushing violent crime, and manhunting," says FBI Director Kash Patel

By Nicholas Ballasy

Published: January 18, 2026 9:14am
The FBI has caught 5 of the 10 most wanted fugitives in the first year of President Trump's second term.

FBI Director Kash Patel said the criminals "spent over three decades collectively evading justice" and they have "been put in custody" in under 1 year.

"Under the leadership of President Trump, this FBI is defending the homeland, crushing violent crime, and manhunting," Patel wrote on X.

On Saturday, Alejandro Rosales Castillo, one of the FBI's most wanted fugitives, was being prepared for extradition to face murder charges in North Carolina.

During a congressional hearing in September, Patel said the Biden administration's FBI caught 4 of the top 10 most wanted terrorists during the entirety of former President Biden's 4-year term.

"We've captured at the FBI 4 of the most top 10 wanted fugitives in the world in 7 months," Patel said. "To put that in perspective, that's as many as my predecessor nabbed in the entirety of the Biden administration. We got 4 we got more coming."

In March, Newsweek pointed out that the Trump administration had caught 3 individuals on the most wanted list, while the Biden administration hadn't caught any at the same point in the president's 4-year term.
