Oh well, you can certainly find something else about Trump to hate.

I am sure your 5 times seeing it was appreciated by Donald. Your cult membership is secure.

Maybe there is some group if refuges or puppies you and Miller can abuse?

Sorry but your assumptions are wrong yet again.

Didn't watch this one, in fact haven't been to a cinema in over a decade. I just made a jest regarding yours and others projections, which of course continue on and on.

And no, I am not in any cult. Your TDS group seems more like that, come to think of it.

And while 'abusing puppies' may be your speed, I am more SPCA and Humane Society. Just paid to have a stray cat spayed, as a matter of fact.

But again, your compulsion to hate the current President, his family, and everything going right that you want to ignore seems to occupy every bit of your attention, so maybe it's too much to suggest you step back and avoid your assumptions this time.

It's quite possible that Trump isn't just egotistical and brash, but might actually suffer from Narcissistic Personally Disorder. His situational and social detachment is pathological in nature.

It's also quite possible that he loves the USA as it was conceived and has thrived as the most exceptional country in human history.

Which belief is pathological to marxists everywhere, with evident consequences.

hey, that is what he tells me and the MAGATURDS. And, I believe him. Manufacturing shrinking to levels seen only in 2012. We are freaking killing it AF!

Going to be a landslide in November. Shame, Trump has some good ideas and sees some real problems, but you can't go full Authoritarian in practice.

Wait, we will hear how this and Texas are good signs...

What's crazy is that it's obvious to almost everyone that's what's going to happen. I would argue it's about the economy and not authoritarianism, however.

The only people who don't think that's going to be the result are the Trump as a demigod crowd.

Carville's slogan still holds "It's the economy, stupid". I do agree.

If the economy was good for everyone, not just the wealthy the DOGE, ICE, Greenland, Epstein, DOJ issues, and the tariffs would be overlooked. Authoritarian Governments thrive when they make things better, we are only seeing improvements for the elite. That is not going to work with elections, as we are seeing in TX, LA and even AK is coming into play.

What was a challenging map for Dems is now looking doable and some even saying favorable. Going to see how Epstein plays out and if the White House has anymore missteps like MN or the Obama meme.

A million years ago I had a coworker that produced at a very level…but he was a HUGE ahole. I told him multiple times that the second he stopped producing he would be gone because all that was left was an ahole. That's exactly what happened.

I view Trump like this; a lot of people are willing to put up with the **** show when things are going really well. The second they aren't going well all that's left is the **** show and people hate that.

Yeah. I hear you. The whole movement is like that, Vance is just not likable. The MAGA and even the GOP may go for him, but IND and DEMS, no way. Rubio is the only one coming out that he is a professional and stayed true to his causes, at least in his home State.

The wild card is who the DEMS run, they won't go Harris or AOC they don't have real support. They go Pritzker? You may see a sweep all the way down ticket.

2026 will be a referendum on Trump's heavy handed tactics of the first two years.

If they ever bother to try running an articulate somewhat moderate Democrat they will be right back to dominating the political scene.

I would argue demographics are destiny. Hart-Celler should have never been passed in the 60ties.... especially while they were killing American men in Vietnam for no damn reason.

This country has had such garbage leadership for so long and the hole is so deep that Republicans cant win without an exceptional candidate and/or the Democrats totally faceplanting and picking the worst candidates possible.

As things currently stand, in 2028 Thomas Massie is the only Republican who can win imo

He's become one of the most likeable and relatable members of Congress.

I think what he shows is that there is a majority of people that are mostly in the middle and could find agreement if both sides would budge a little.

He has to be the worst at "reading the room."

Tens of thousands of Americans were laid off in 2025 and already in 2026 because of AI with the job market being awful and he wants to tell people things are all good while they are without a job.

This will be why November is awful for him. People vote with their paycheck and right now paychecks are bad. Trump has promised two (or is it 3 times now) that Americans would receive checks.

Then add in the hate for the Epstein **** show, lack of arrests there, bad optics of the ICE raids, the continued funding of things DOGE was supposed to cut or eliminate, and a few others and people will vote against him out of anger/spite.

Right now a guy could run as an independent but promise to make arrests on epstein and expose who it was, cut wasteful spending, etc and probably win in a landslide without saying he was either party.

Good morning all.

Don't want to derail the thread, but I'd like to remind the room that midterm elections are very different from presidential-year elections. Also, for what it's worth Trump will not be on the ballot in either 2026 or 2028, but he will be the focus of a lot of noise.

They are different and he will not technically be on the ballot, true. But, midterms are a referendum on sitting Presidents. How and what he does will impact Congress and the Senate. Most Presidents normally lose seats during midterms, this President has not only had numerous actions that have been heavy, but the Epstein impact is there.

Elections are not logical. ICE, DOGE and Epstein are going to be big elephants in the room for the electorate outside of the President's base.
