This is disappointing. RFK been taking Ls this week.

No doubt lobbyists have been dumping millions of $$$$$ against Kennedy's efforts.

Yep...that was my first thought

My daughter follows Kennedys efforts almost daily…, then sets new rules on what my wife and I can feed her children.

At first I thought it was a bit extreme…..but after making my own investigations…..realize Kennedy is right far more often than wrong.

So maybe that will be Kennedy's real legacy .

In that he got almost everyone far more concerned about exactly what they are consuming.

RFK seems like kind of a kook on some things...but I think he's definitely on the right track with trying to put pressure on companies getting rid of many of the additives they use.

Yet, now he is for Roundup.

RFK is?

all in!! Good news is it will be 9:00pm here in Bangkok. Time difference is a real *****, and a pain for work. Still in the process of getting my work schedule right. Finally, caught a break with the hockey game. Watch Finland this morning. Have a bit of vested interest. Miro and Rope are friends and live in my building in Dallas.(season ticket holder) Great dudes, those Fins. Kiviranta used to live there before he was traded. Canada has prolly the 3 best NHL players. We have our hands full.

You didn't hear? He's going to disband the Supreme Court so they don't get in his way.

media's talked about refunds, don't recall the SCOTUS actually saying anything about that.

But some folks will believe whatever they want.

Meh. Crappy fights.

Open hands trying to slap each other. Grabbing each others shirts and then Taking them down. I saw maybe 3 punches land.

I've seen better middle school fights.

outlawing Roundup from ag would crater the ag industry. So much of the industry is predicated on its use....equipment, seed varieties, tillage practices, etc.....

Not saying we could not adjust to a Roundup-free world. Saying that there would need to be a years-long transition plan to keep food prices from soaring due to short supply.

Devil of a choice

Either poison ourselves from the overuse of herbicides, pesticides, and fungicides……..

or return to the days of massive starvation throughout Asia and Africa.

My vote would be to feed our planet's billions.

There are steps before outlawing. He is taking the deregulations too far. Deregulating business manufacturing finaces is one thing. Loosening environmental regulations, is a slippery slope. Cancer clusters are a sad sight and heartbreaking to see. Ag chemicals and water supplies are a real issue.

I agree with you on transitioning, it needs to be done right. Not just outlaw. Funny, I was excited about RFK on the food and health stuff, not the medical. He is going tough on medical and backing off food and health!
