That is a legitimate function of govt. But the socialists always make up the craziest lies to justify themselves and going on stupid voters to fall for it. Unfortunately, there are plenty of "useful idiots" to oblige them.

Fully naked adults exposed themselves to children in Seattle, Washington, at a pride parade on Sunday.
Hundreds of thousands reportedly gathered in downtown Seattle to revel in sexual degeneracy.
It's a typical scene during Pride Month in liberal cities across the nation.

The Gateway Pundit has reported on past Seattle Pride parades, where, likewise, naked men rode bikes and flashed children as they rode by. Of course, the police do nothing as nude adults abuse young children with indecent exposure.
In California on Saturday, thousands of nude bikers also participated in the World Naked Bike Ride, where they stripped nude and rode bicycles around the city. One vigilante was actually arrested on charges of assault with a deadly weapon for shooting bikers with his BB gun in a wild turn of events.

It's absolutely socialism. When the Ponderosa caught on fire all that came was Hopsing and the Cartwrights. They forged a bucket brigade.

The government sends in better equiped men with trucks and equipment to put out the fire. It's done for the social good.

Shocking no one, a grim new report from San Francisco's civil grand jury concludes that insanely expensive local spending on homelessness is being wasted on failed programs and ineffective nonprofit groups.
"San Francisco spends roughly $700 million annually on homelessness, and its Department of Homelessness and Supportive Housing ('HSH') administers nearly $500 million on nonprofit contracts to deliver services each year, yet this system has gaps that jeopardize safety, accountability, and results," the report says.

The most recent count from the city puts San Francisco's homeless population in the neighborhood of 8,000 people on a typical night, though that number is much lower than the estimate of people who are homeless at some point during the year and eligible for city homeless services. A 2025 city report draws the distinction between numbers like this:

You can do the math either way: $700 million to support about 8,000 people who are homeless on any given night, or $700 million to support a varying population that slips in and out of homelessness and adds up to about 27,000 people. It's a lot of money either way, but it's a little over $87,000 per person if you take the point-in-time count of around 8,000. (Recent news reports on the city's claims that its homeless count just hit the lowest level in fifteen years are mostly a word game about "unsheltered" homelessness.)

Taking the higher number, the grand jury finds the heart of the problem by identifying the service model: "HSH was created in 2016 to bring unity and simplified accountability to the City's homelessness programs, and it now serves roughly 27,000 people per year with a nearly 100% outsourced model through a network of nonprofit service providers."

The money is public, but the service providers are private non-profit corporations. A local government spends hundreds of millions of dollars on the homeless through a giant network of NGOs, and no one is really watching them. As the grand jury describes the city's homelessness agency, underselling the point, "its functional oversight is weak."

Might want to rephrase that. I know what you meant, but some could claim that means more corrupt parties besides the two we have, and someone would be sure to take you up on that.

How is it that it seems only the Trump family is making bank in Cryptocurrency? Most everyone else, including smaller investors are getting wiped out. Just curious.

Antifa-Affiliated Defendants Sentenced In 2025 Prairieland Detention Center Attack, Leader Gets 100 Years
Dallas Express | Jun 23, 2026

Convicted felon Benjamin Song

Eight people convicted in connection with a 2025 attack on an immigration detention facility in North Texas were sentenced Tuesday to a combined 450 years in federal prison, according to the U.S. Department of Justice.

The sentences stem from the July 4, 2025, attack on the Prairieland Detention Center in Alvarado, where prosecutors said members of a North Texas Antifa-affiliated cell carried out a coordinated assault that included vandalism, explosives and gunfire that wounded a police officer.

Federal officials said Benjamin Hanil Song, identified by prosecutors as a leader of the group, received the longest sentence of 100 years in prison after being convicted of attempted murder of a law enforcement officer and related charges.

Others sentenced included Maricela Rueda, who received 70 years in prison; Cameron Arnold, Savanna Batten, Zachary Evetts, Bradford Morris and Elizabeth Soto, who each received 50-year sentences; and Daniel Rolando Sanchez-Estrada, who was sentenced to 30 years.

The Justice Department said the sentences mark the first involving defendants affiliated with Antifa following an executive order issued by President Donald Trump in September 2025 designating the group as a domestic terrorist organization.

Prosecutors Detail Planning And Attack
According to prosecutors, members of the group arrived at the detention facility dressed in black clothing and face coverings intended to conceal their identities. Authorities said they brought firearms, body armor, military-style medical kits, and fireworks to the scene.

Evidence presented during a 12-day trial showed participants allegedly launched fireworks at the facility, vandalized vehicles and a guard station, damaged surveillance equipment, and confronted responding officers.

More sentencing today, expecting 30-70 year sentences https://www.dallasnews.com/news/courts/article/texas-ice-prairieland-antifa-sentencings-22322631.php

The magnitude of Trump's personal corruption and the monetizing of the presidency by him and his family have no precedent in US history.

It takes a total peasant mentality, or some weird cultish devotion, to defend or excuse this, especially if you objected to corrupt Biden transactions (as I did). It's on a completely different scale.

Trump set up a crypto company (World Liberty Financial) 4 days before his inauguration, then had the UAE pour hundreds of millions into his pockets for 49% of it, then gave rewards to the UAE. Jared getting $2 billion from the Saudis. On and on and on.
