If the reports I referenced are correct, the Salvation Army is probably an exception. Another is the Gideon's International. 100% of donated funds go to printing Bibles for hotels, hospitals, prisons, schools, etc.

Point taken but I think Trump has a lot more sense than his critics give him credit. For example, much of his "crazy" rhetoric is a bargaining tactic and it often works.

Yup, The Q bomb.

You may recall how Grand Fenwick got it. The US decided to have a big drill in NYC the same day that Grand Fenwick's 'Expeditionary Force' arrived there so they could actually have someone to be taken prisoner. So no one was available to arrest the GF invaders.

They discovered the scientist because Peter Sellers' character (Tully Bascombe, Sellers also played Grand Duchess Gloriana XII and Prime Minister Rupert of Mountjoy) read about Doctor Kokintz and intercepted him at his office, believing that taking prisoners would give him leverage. Tully was therefore able to take the scientist hostage, along with his daughter Helen, and along the way several military officers and some police, and General Snippet.

In the end, Grand Fenwick gets to keep the Q bomb (which does not work, but everyone keeps that secret) as part of a Council of Little Nations, because the Great Nations cannot be trusted. The Americans agree to pay reparations requested by Grand Fenwick (the reason for the war, GF was about to run out of money), but not ten million dollars GF wants: The US says they will get a billion dollars at least, whether they want it or not.
