Any plan going forward has to take that into account, because the next generation is also wondering how they will survive.
A reasonable pat from you, wow. Yes, if you want to fo away with entitlements, which SS is not really, you have to do it gracefully. Better yet, fix it so SS doesn't lose out to inflation and sustains itself.
Social Security needs to be redone totally. The payout you get from all the money you put in is pitiful.
That's why it should be privatized, the only way for that to happen. The govt does not create anything. It only destroys. The more people realize that fact the better off everyone will be.
Are you kidding??? You say this with a straight face?
IT WAS!! Trump hired who he wanted and paid them what they charged! This in NO WAY went through the typical procurement we do in the road industry. Under typical State or Agency contracts they would have filed a bond and we would have a claim against them to fix it. We would have a CEI that would be responsible to make sure they work was done according to plans. We would never do final acceptance until the work was complete and the CEI signed off/They would be on the hook for this and involved in the settlement. The private sector transaction is the LEAST secure way to provide public infratructure. You do not build and maintain public parks this way.
Using your system it would be a civil court. You really HAVE NO IDEA what you are talking about.

Yeah, we need more of a Lord of the Flies approach... Get you Low T injection...
Social Security is a safety net, nothing more. Never intended to be your pension. It is to make sure IF the Depression ever happens again the elderly can live. You are making into something it is not. The Government should be able to take care of the elderly and provide medical. Civilized societies don't let let the old die in the streets and you shouldn't be ruined because you got sick.

Hard to even process -- a president selling market-moving information to banks and wealthy investors in advance of everyone else, and personally pocketing hundreds of millions of dollars from it. This alone is more worthy of impeachment than 100 Watergate cover-ups. https://t.co/8ZHs89axc7

First you say it's absurd and useless, now you get mad someone might get a personal opinion ahead of his regular emissions.
I don't care much for Trump's posts, but only a dishonest moron would suggest this rises to any actionable response.

You've got your head in the sand if you don't think Trump has the power to influence markets with his Truth Social posts.
You think he could charge $100,000 a pop for this info if it wasn't meaningful info?
They aren't paying this for his social media battles with Taylor Swift....it's for his posts that move the market.

You keep proving you don't pay attention. I am not defending Trump, just pointing out that your little tantrum is because you believed some rant from delusional malcontents.
Again, it's entirely reasonable to see this move from Trump and say 'this is a bad look and I disapprove', but the mark of the screeching hysterical loon to say 'this is a hundred times worse than Watergate'.
If by now you still cannot grasp the distinction, you should not reply anymore to that Nigerian prince or buy the device that promises you will never have to pay a power bill again.
