Sorry, not seeing the issue with a healthy lunch by a public school. See more of a problem with soda, ice cream and fried foods. If they want unhealthy pay for it and get it on their time.

No one ever argued on this thread against fruits and vegetables being available. Ever. You keep beating a dead unicorn that does not exist. You must at least try to be honest. It wouldn't hurt to be a normal human being and admit you made a mistake.

The problem, again, is not providing the option of healthy food. The problem is forcing what people eat, especially given how poorly most schools prepare food.
Once again, the meal is the meal. Dont like it, dont buy lunch that day. We didnt buy everyday. We did every Friday because it was pizza and it came with a salad period. Nobody is being forced, bring lunch.

And once again, that is the point. Obama's regime restricted what students were allowed to bring if they didn't want the mystery crap plate. And every student got a veggie even if they just threw it away.
You keep ignoring those parts when they are the problem, mister.
If you want to throw it away that is a personal choice. The school should provide healthy meals, the school's job is to teach, not win a popularity contest.
If this was Trump, you would be crowing how great he is and he is fixing school lunches. It was Obama it is bad, period. ODS- Obama Derangement Syndrome. Obama cant have done anything right.
Think about it, you are arguing against providing kids with fruits and vegetables in school lunches because it was Michelle Obama. Really????
Get it.

So, what was wrong with the school lunch program providing only healthy food, besides it being from Obama?
Please fill me in on how that is bad. If it is not, why the reference besides Michelle Obama?

You are missing the point. Some schools have banned many items or even any outside food from being brought.
For example, schools have said you cannot bring sodas. You cannot bring PBJ. ETc.
So they are limiting the options.
The problem is in the waste. But I guess you like waste and money being literally thrown away.

I agree with that at a public school. Waste? Throwing out too many peas? With all the stuff we have money going to,kids throwing away their vegetables is the line in the sand? Yeah, that never happened before Obama.
You guys are ridiculous. Don't be so gullible, there was never a National ban on PBJ sandwiches at schools and the local ones was based on peanut allergies. If you used a non-nut based spread it is perfectly fine. It was not an Obama thing,

This will be an unpopular opinion on the Right but I think this is kind of dumb, even as a troll. LOL. You keep moving the goalposts every time you are proven wrong.
Documented evidence has been provided to you that it created more waste.
If you have some that shows it did not then provide that or just admit you are wrong.
I never said there was national ban. So that is a deflection from something that has proven you wrong.
You miss the point on the local bans. Because some kids were allergic they banned it for all students. Because schools could no longer sell sodas they banned it for all kids.
Just admit you were wrong and move on. Stop turning this into an Obama or Trump thing when it is a general bashing of GOVERNMENT waste.

Admit what as being wrong? Proven wrong on what that schools should require veggies? Guilty. Documented evidence, it is schools requiring you eat a veggie. What waste??? They didnt eat their brussel sprouts? You guys are f-ing nuts.
