I kinda feel like birthright citizenship is a Trojan Horse. Trump knows that it would be a stretch to get 3/4 of the House and Senate and (I think) 3/4 of States to ratify. However, it is tying lots of the far left's legal teams up trying to figure out how to fight it. Therefore letting his other EO's slide through a bit easier

It won't necessarily require a constitutional amendment to fix birthright citizenship. There is another thread on the subject with some interesting ideas. A clever lawyer could make a strong case against the current flawed interpretation of the idea. Ultimately, I think, Congress will have to pass a law to fix it. This is doable. Hopefully, the Trump administration will soon move forward on this.
