There is no new intelligence behind the agency's shift. Rather it is based on the same evidence it has been chewing over for months.

The analysis, however, is based in part on a closer look at the conditions in the high security labs in Wuhan province before the pandemic outbreak, according to people familiar with the agency's work.

Since the outbreak of the pandemic, questions have swirled around whether the two labs handling coronaviruses in Wuhan had followed safety protocols strictly enough.

The agency made its new assessment with 'low confidence,' which means the intelligence behind it is fragmentary and incomplete.

Even in the absence of hard intelligence, the lab leak hypothesis has been gaining ground inside spy agencies. But some analysts question the wisdom of shifting a position in absence of new information.
Translation: it's time to start getting people riled up against China, and who better to help than the CIA.
This makes me laugh. The irony of this post. He's accepted every dishonest thing about the pandemic and from lying Fauci, yet the CIA can't be trusted now because of Trump.

My opinion is that we don't know where the virus came from. I know it's hard for you to accept, but it's the only conclusion that an objective observer can reach at this time.

Let's just say we'll never know for sure unless someone inside China leaks the info. But the evidence clearly points to a lab leak since the virus began in a city where viruses like this are tested and created all the freaking time...

There are also hundreds of bat caves in the surrounding area, so you could just as well say the evidence "clearly" points to origin in the wild.

Since they have dissected the virus and we know it was made in a lab, is your assertion that the bats flew into the lab, injected themselves, then flew out to infect 2 million Chinese?

My loyalty to any politician isn't exactly loyalty. Call it like I see it. And no, while we absolutely do not know where it came from with certainty, one scenario may be more likely than the other. Which is exactly what the report alludes to.

Also remember the ones who were right. I used the 2008 financial crisis to find the few who were right during that time. It helps to weed out the bad ones from polluting your mind with lies.

We don't know that it was made in a lab. I assume you're referring to the pangolin study, which concluded the opposite but has often been misrepresented.

That's why SARS 1, bird flu, etc, were considered natural. The fact they never found ronas in a nature makes it clear it was from the lab.

Just as much, the medical world takes their cues from WHO, which is run by China. So it's an entire knowledge ecosystem living in a vacuum chamber because they all take their marching orders from a Chinese run organization. Anyone in the field who goes against the official position is ostracized.
