Just for context on how far fetched this is.....on the campaign trail Trump would bring up Buttigieg's record as Tranportation Secretary and would say he had billions in his budget to create EV chargers in the midwest and he created about 8.
I was always surprised at his lack of success with EV chargers, because no one in America has more experience with inserting a plug than ol' Petey.
That's assuming quite a bit… and a subject most of us would rather not contemplate.
