Ken Paxton did an interview with Tucker this week and he said if any city in Texas declares themselves a "sanctuary city", that the state can charge city officials and remove them from office

Paxton was saying the DA's in Texas are like God's and have even more power than the politicians supposedly in charge of the cities... mb someone here with some experience practicing law in Texas can speak on this.

Thanks for posting. 15 minutes into it so far.

Based on some of the stuff that has come out of the Travis County DA's office, I would agree that the DA's carry a lot have weight and some have certainly abused it.

Negative. I was surprised there are no sanctuary cities in Texas. "In 2017, Texas Governor Greg Abbott signed Senate Bill 4 (SB4) to ban sanctuary cities in the state."

He's the interim chief. Hopefully, he won't be the permanent hire and they can kick his ass to the curb. It's just disgusting that police and idiots like AOC would protect violent criminals (legal or not) and put their residents at risk.

It depends on what a city does. If they are actively hiding and aiding illegals while thwarting ICE then that is a criminal offense. Pam Bondi has promised to prosecute. She's already started with two corrupt politicians in New York: Gov Hochul & AG Leticia James.
