American taxpayers at some point are gonna wake up and realize that they are tired of subsidizing anti-American woke bull***** Tenure has been used to entrench "the current thing," the opposite of its original intent. If universities actually had to comply with the tax code like the rest of us, they would shut down. Some big changes are afoot, in my humble opinion.
Baylor is not immune, as it follows the crowd just on a five year curve. (That's why, frankly, I'd rather my kids just go to a secular institution. It's more honest. But I digress.)
I doubt current universities can really change. I think it is more likely there will be a shift and they will be replaced. But I'd be happy to be proven wrong.
The good thing about going to a secular school, the Christian kids in the fellowship groups are usually authentic, whereas at a church school a lot of the kids are just following in the family tradition/business.
I other words the ones at the secular school are usually the real deal, not just playing the game.
A little harsh....
There are of course t-shirt Christians at UT-austin, A&M, and Baylor
And there are really committed Christians at all schools.
I don't think we can accurately measure that
In fact I can see there being less T-shirt Christian Students at Baylor and more T-shirt Christian Professors (Adults just saying what they need to get a good paying job)
The Students after all are going into massive debt to go to what they feel is a Christian School that takes Christianity seriously
