JR is a clown. He doesn't know the facts so he clowns it here because he's really not that smart. A long time ago, he likely was slightly above average intelligence, but years of hedonism and gluttony and social progressivism has stupefied his senses.

  • Europe has provided both loans and grants to Ukraine.
  • The EU and G7 partners agreed to collectively provide $50 billion in loans to support Ukraine's budgetary and military needs.
  • French President Emmanuel Macron clarified that Europe has given money to Ukraine, indicating that some of the support is in the form of grants rather than loans.
  • Additionally, the European Commission has disbursed a 3 billion loan to Ukraine, which will be repaid with proceeds from immobilized Russian State assets.
  • Thus, the financial assistance from Europe to Ukraine includes both loans and grants.

But we all know the reason Macron didn't say how much was "given", because it's a paltry sum. Trump continues to be proven correct. Europe has much if not the vast majority of the money as loans not gifts/grants.

And you can read this for all the mention of LOANS:

This stuff about loans and grants is interesting (sort of) but it doesn't address who invaded whom.

No, but if you are confused, you can google it. I think we've covered it pretty clearly in multiple threads.

But what I posted makes it clear that the US is being treated differently than our European allies who are loaning them money. So Macron misled the press in substance, and is praised as a hero for merely having the guts to contradict Trump. Doesn't matter how untrue the contradiction is.

And as to this forum, JR certainly doesn't care about truth. He's become a clown poster.

Curious, how does the funding for Ukraine to repel Russia answer the invasion question. Missing something there.

Curios, how does JR bringing up Macron answer the invasion question. It doesn't.

Curious, how it's so hard to follow such a short thread for two of you. Curious how you two somehow make JR look smart. Curiously enough, I respond to the resident clown with facts about his clownish post, and two people who apparently can't read make stupid posts about being curious about the OP when they could respond to the original clown post with their curiosity.

Maybe Andrew Yang was being too subtle, but I'm pretty sure that what he was referring to was when Trump said that the war between Ukraine and Russia was started by Ukraine.

You can talk about stuff like loans and grants all day long, but the cold hard fact is that Russia invaded Ukraine.

To excuse Russia's invasion of Ukraine because of stuff like loans and grants is like excusing Germany's invasion of Poland because Germany got a raw deal in the Treaty of Versailles.

Or like excusing Japan's attack on Pearl Harbor because Japan got a raw deal when we imposed economic sanctions on them.

What on earth are you talking about? The comment about Macron was on loans for the war. Has nothing to do with the cause of the invasion. JR brought it up to throw shade. I responded to his stupidity. Carry on with your confusion.

Everyone knows who invaded. We all have News and Google. Thanks.

Sure, but maybe not like you think. He tends to cast wide nets, like blaming Biden and his weakness. His statement could mean that Zelensky seeking NATO membership was a stick in the eye to Putin. Could be there's another contributing factor by the Ukraine. In other words don't pick a fight you can't finish.

I personally don't disagree with him in that Bidens assurance and Zelensky's seeking NATO membership, well that discussion contributed greatly.

Doesn't change that Russian invaded. I don't like Putin, but I believe that Biden's secret puppeteers actually led the Ukraine down this path.
