But I can think of a handful on the left that are even dumber, and say even dumber and more inflammatory things, Hell, Ilhan Omar just suggested yesterday that half of Americans are idiots. Oddly, I never see you complaining when the Democrats say such things...

I saw the quotes and the tiny video clip. Then I went online and found the more complete statement.
I chalk it up to her being very inarticulate.
She started by contrasting these federal jobs vs regular private sector jobs. It seemed to me that she was trying to express the idea that these jobs don't exist because they serve a market function. These federal jobs were not created because there was a legit demand for these services.
Yeah... the way she said it was dumb.

She appears to be assuming that we are only talking about the unnecessary jobs within the bureaucracy, but it clearly sounds life she is talking about all government workers. She's really bad as a public speaker.

I still hold to the truth that she is far smarter than about 30% of the dems serving in congress.... but that doesn't mean that she is smart. She's dumb alright, but she's not drool on your hijab dumb, like Omar.
