Couldn't bring myself to watch it last night live. It was much more fun here on Eric's Board (RIP buddy)

Watching the recap today. Conan O'Brien is not very funny anymore. Lots of his stuff fell flat on it's face.

Anora won 5 trophies. haven't seen it but the Wiki on it looks interesting. Adrien Brophy got the Best Actor and Mickey Madison won Best Actress. Also snagged the top trophy, Best Picture. Sex worker in NYC and the son of a Russian oligarch.

Lots of boring "Wicked" tunes and singing by the bald headed, sans wig witch and the blonde that were in it.

The trans movie "Trance", I think only Zoe Saldana won for Best Supporting Actress (edit, she won for Emelia Perez). Good for her. The rest of the movie bombed apparently of backlash even in SAG, the most nominations with 13, but only one trophy.

I am a former member of both SAG and AFTRA, gonna watch Anora and see if it is worth a flip before casting my Post-Oscar vote to see if they win mine!

add, Wicked was suppossed to pull off a lot of award but only got a couple of minor ones

Very seldom make it out to the movie theatre, so once again didn't bother watching the Awards.

I did go see "A Complete Unknown" just because I am a huge fan of Bob Dylan. Thought it was pretty good and fairly accurate.

They might as well televise an awards show for plumbers as far as I am concerned.
