I'm good with incentives that drive production to the US.
I'm good with tariffs that are avoidable and/or reciprocal.
Free trade rarely exists. All the usual gripers know this. But they've been programmed since birth to accept the globalists agenda.
Last, we have standards that other countries don't. American workers shouldnt have to compete against slave labor. These other countries need to be similarly minded to have "free trade" access to our marke
What countries that import goods to the US use "slave labor"?
What is this "globalist agenda" you speak of?
Are you saying other countries have to think like us before we engage in trade?
What incentives do manufactures get when the serve a captive set of buyers? Does a 3000 tariff on Mazdas spur Ford into making a better car? How? They can keep on making a car thats worth less and charge more. Seems like the opposite to me.
Should American consumers have the freedom to buy the car of their choice or be forced into supporting union bosses? I am old enough tp remember when unions controlling the market was a democrat idea.
