We sent one kid to tech for grad school. He killed it. We paid next to nothing and he started at $175k. Guessing a lot of the pizza joke people on here aren't making that. And we had a blast up there when we visited.

Good for you. We are doing something similar. Son got a full ride to Texas State, which is close to home. Got into Baylor as well, with about $20k in scholarships, but it was still going to cost $20k per semester, which is incredible to me.

Love my alma mater, but it's just not worth it. I think outside of UT and maybe A&M, there isn't really much separation anymore, and I am not sure even those provide much separation. College has become a racket, and you have to figure out a way to game the system. Son got almost 2 free years of college at ACC, and will be going into Texas State almost a junior.

What did your son get a graduate degree in and what does he do?
