Their leadership class is now as deeply integrated with the military industrial complex as is the Republicans.

And a good portion of their more activist class loves the idea of spreading liberalism around the world via US government power.

Or Hard- like the failed nation building in Afghanistan using our armed forces

In fact…the Afghan pull out was when I realized how pro-war the American Left had become.

Instead of celebrating our withdraw from a un-winnable and costly guerrilla war….all the media chatter was about how we were abandoning "women's rights" and "LGBTQ rights" in Afghanistan

They now view war as a legitimate means of spreading their cultural values around the globe
