One of my best friend's daughter came out as male a few years ago. Sweet girl, who grew up around my children, but was tall, a bit awkward and as such, the boys had little interest. Growing up, I suspected she was lesbian. Ended up at A&M (of all places) a few years ago, and came home to announce she was now male, would be referred to by a male name, and was on hormone therapy and in the process of exploring transitional surgery. Two years ago, she had her breasts removed.

Fast forward to a few months ago, and she ends up trying to kill herself from the regret and remorse she started to experience a few years into living as a man. Thankfully, since then she's found Christ, and is in the process of de-transitioning. Going to require surgeries and hormone therapy, but the damage is irreversible. She will never be the same. This is the end result of the state our society finds itself in. When the anorexic person struggles with an eating disorder, do we tell her to go get her stomach stapled and lipo? Of course not. We treat the mental illness so we can restore the person's mental faculties and save their lives. Yet, when it comes to gender dysphoria, we tell the person experiencing it to mutilate their bodies and do irreversible damage to it. It's bat **** crazy.

For the record, I have nothing but sympathy for people like my friend's daughter. Like your friend, she a nice person, and I hate the damage that has been wrought on her body by the medical community. But it doesn't make what she did any less wrong and immoral.

Luxury belief??? I don't even know what that is. I'm not really sure what you mean by that one. Insulated? I think not. It does affect me as it impacts my friend. My kids played high level sports all through HS and never, ever ran into this problem relative to competing against different sexes. On a percentage basis, we damn sure do have bigger fish to fry in this country. Let's just start with the debt ole Trumpy wants to add to in a severe way and the R's have shown NO balls, no principles as so-called conservatives. Let's start there. watdoyasay. I'm on record hear saying that I'm Fiscally Conservative and Socially Progressive. That's just me and don't try to sway people to my beliefs and do not feel the need to justify my stance. Instead of being a hater, I try to find the good in all people of all racists, creeds, religion , non religious as long as they don't hurt others. I'm not judge or jury as that isn't my job.

One of my best friend's daughter came out as male a few years ago. Sweet girl, who grew up around my children, but was tall, a bit awkward and as such, the boys had little interest. Growing up, I suspected she was lesbian. Ended up at A&M (of all places) a few years ago, and came home to announce she was now male, would be referred to by a male name, and was on hormone therapy and in the process of exploring transitional surgery. Two years ago, she had her breasts removed.

Fast forward to a few months ago, and she ends up trying to kill herself from the regret and remorse she started to experience a few years into living as a man. Thankfully, since then she's found Christ, and is in the process of de-transitioning. Going to require surgeries and hormone therapy, but the damage is irreversible. She will never be the same. This is the end result of the state our society finds itself in. When the anorexic person struggles with an eating disorder, do we tell her to go get her stomach stapled and lipo? Of course not. We treat the mental illness so we can restore the person's mental faculties and save their lives. Yet, when it comes to gender dysphoria, we tell the person experiencing it to mutilate their bodies and do irreversible damage to it. It's bat **** crazy.

For the record, I have nothing but sympathy for people like my friend's daughter. Like your friend, she a nice person, and I hate the damage that has been wrought on her body by the medical community. But it doesn't make what she did any less wrong and immoral.

Many such cases. Mostly it is kids who are late bloomers, awkward, maybe gay. Fortunately, most of them reverse field before they have done too much damage to their physical self. There is still typically a pretty good trail of damage. But the situations where they've done a lot of hormone therapy or undergone surgical procedures are truly tragic.

A deep irony running through it is that the people promoting this insanity are more harsh in enforcing gender stereotypes than any right wing conservative. A boy is a bit of feminine? Well, he must be a girl. A girl is a little butch or tomboyish? Well, she must be a boy. And now let's send them off on a dangerous wild goose chase.
