Tim is so dumb it is almost painful to watch.

Nothing more than your typical jr high assistant football coach.

You should probably apologize to all the jr. high assistant football coaches out there that you just insulted.

CNN and other left-wing media covered the fake "Elon Musk Nazi salute" more than this multi-trillion-dollar fraud.

Incredible how such mediocre individuals will sell out their entire country in the selfish attempt to hold public office.

Dems aren't.

They have obviously decided flagrant vote buying involving immigrants….both legal and illegal….is their last remaining chance to acquire and maintain political power.

The only remaining question is do the Republicans find the will and guts to enforce existing laws.

Not sure they can.

GOP rep introduces bill to stop Minn. welfare fraud from spreading to other states -- and Dems will hate law's name
Story by C. Douglas Golden 3h

As a general rule, painfully forced acronyms for legislative packages are one of the most obnoxious attention-getting feints in Washington, D.C.

It's hard to pick the worst offender because there are simply so many, although the The Standardizing Testing and Accountability Before Large Elections Giving Electors Necessary Information for Unobstructed Selection -- or STABLE GENIUS Act, a piece of Democratic legislation that took a shot at one of President Donald Trump's trademark phrases by attempting to introduce standardized testing for presidential candidates -- is a hard act (pun unintended) to beat.

However, sometimes a legislator manages to score a rare victory in the acronym department. Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks, a Republican from Iowa, certainly did last week when she introduced a bill which would stop the rampant taxpayer-funded fraud we're seeing in the Somali community in Minnesota from metastasizing to the rest of America.

That bill is called the Welfare Abuse and Laundering Zillions Act -- or WALZ Act. Because if "Tampon Tim" wasn't memorable enough, we can now stick the governor of Minnesota and Kamala Harris' running mate with the signature act that stops the kind of entitlement fraud that's happened under his nose.

"What we're seeing in Minnesota is a jawdropping failure of leadership, nearly $9 billion lost to fraud under Governor Tim Walz's watch," MillerMeeks said in a media release.

"This is what happens when softoncrime Democrat policies run unchecked: zero accountability, zero oversight, and taxpayers left holding the bag. The WALZ Act is named for a reason, to ensure this level of negligence can never be repeated anywhere else in America. Our bill puts hard safeguards in place to protect taxpayer dollars, shut the door on scam artists, and bring real accountability back to government programs."

Tim Walz Resignation Calls Grow Over Minnesota Fraud Scandal

Published
Dec 30, 2025 at 08:14 AM EST

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz is facing calls to resign amid mounting allegations of fraud in federal programs in the state.

Republican lawmakers at the state and federal level have called on the governor, who was the Democratic Party's vice presidential nominee in 2024, to resign.

Walz has defended himself, previously telling Newsweek that he has "worked for years to crack down on fraud."

Newsweek contacted Walz's office for further comment by an email sent outside normal business hours.

Why It Matters:

Prosecutors have alleged that fraud schemes targeting Minnesota-run programs may cost the state billions of dollars. Many of the defendants charged so far have been Somali Americans, sparking cultural and political tensions. Some members of the community have warned that they have been stigmatized as a result of the ongoing cases.

The scandal could have serious ramifications on Walz's political standing. The two-term governor is running for reelection in 2026, but calls for his resignation could derail his campaign.

Deputy Secretary Jim O'Neill

@HHS_Jim
We have frozen all child care payments to the state of Minnesota.

You have probably read the serious allegations that the state of Minnesota has funneled millions of taxpayer dollars to fraudulent daycares across Minnesota over the past decade.

Today we have taken three actions against the blatant fraud that appears to be rampant in Minnesota and across the country:

1. I have activated our defend the spend system for all ACF payments. Starting today, all ACF payments across America will require a justification and a receipt or photo evidence before we send money to a state.

2. Alex Adams and I have identified the individuals in
@nickshirleyy
's excellent work. I have demanded from
@GovTimWalz
a comprehensive audit of these centers. This includes attendance records, licenses, complaints, investigations, and inspections.

3. We have launched a dedicated fraud-reporting hotline and email address at https://childcare.gov Whether you are a parent, provider, or member of the general public, we want to hear from you.

We have turned off the money spigot and we are finding the fraud.

Mike Lindell has good intentions but he is another HORRIBLE candidate put forth by the Republican Party. All Republicans need to do to win in Minnesota is to put forth a reasonably moderate candidate without baggage. Lindell has a ton of baggage. Dems and the liberal media will have talking points galore to keep the focus on his idiosyncrasies and off the corruption they are using to bankrupt the state.

Anyone remember Fred Thompson?

Fred was, at one time, the GOP favorite to take on Barack Obama as he went after re-election. Thompson regularly zinged Obama on Twitter and in media sound bites. As a known reformer when he was AG in Tennessee, Thompson also had serious political chops in addition to a national audience that seemed to be growing.

Problem was, Thompson's campaign experience was limited to state-level, even as he won a Senate seat. Thompson had never run a national campaign, either in size or duration. Thompson also did not understand how to conduct internal polling, budget for the campaign needs, or coordinate media campaigns. As a result, when Thompson ran his primary campaign, he lost his prior polished delivery as he was unable to handle the range or timing of questions, he had to play catch-up in media appearances and on the whole proved himself an amateur next to Romney's well-oiled machine.

I see a lot of wanna-be GOP candidates making the same mistakes.
That which does not kill me, will try again and get nastier

Taking more in government dollars based on the stats minus the fraud, I can't wait to see what that number is. There should be a requirement that you have to be self sufficient after 5-10 years or be deported.
