After the latest elections in NY where the media was praising that "mayor" that they have for backing all the winners, I was thinking the same thing.
Isn't it amazing how wealthy all these leading "socialists" are?
Yet, you think their policies will make more wealthy citizens out of the have nots? Of course not. That's not how it's designed.
The leaders have got theirs, and they have the power, but they'll pull out all the stops to keep the rest from getting theirs. Through the policies they push.

I guess through my father, and quite a few Texas relatives, the BU thing is definitely there.

And I was accepted there myself. Among other places. Though opted for USC. So there's that.

Was a different time in my life though. I was still having too much fun here to make such a lifestyle change. Friends. Surfing. You could have taken the boy out of California, but California was not coming out of the boy.

Plus there were those other, well, proclivities, that might not have fit in real well.

Even though at the time, they were proclivities that were only known to those who I chose to let in on my true life. I was raised very conservatively. With a real spiritual faith. So jaws would drop when they found out. Much as they did when they put two and two together and realized those buddies of mine they had met along the way were more than buddies as well.

You mean, the Marine Corps pilot? The LAPD officer? The dude who went on to play in the major leagues? lol. Among all the rest who didn't fit the stereotype either.

Still would have been a little different there than it was here. While it was still on the dl for me though, even out here, it would have been especially so down there.

I have put that side of me away though now. It's a day to day struggle, and still there, but it's all about Christ now.

As for BU though, would be great to see a home and away with Baylor. Had hoped it might happen while my dad was still alive, but would still be cool to meet up with the BU relatives down there and hit the game if it ever happens.
