Very tragic loss. This is like the boomer equivalent of O'reilly or Hannity getting shot. I was never a huge fan of Charlie bc I thought he was too zio but theres no doubt he helped bring a lot of younger people to the GOP. Now he himself was never far right enough for me but he was better than nothing. Very tragic loss at such a young age.

we're only just over a month removed from the targeted shooting of a Minnesota Democratic politician by a Trump supporter. The Assassination of Kirk is a disgusting act that no sane member of either Political Party supports or wishes for, but trying to pretend that its only the left that commits these horrible acts is just lying to yourself, its this type of argument that leads to these acts in the first place.


I hear what you're saying but I think you're missing the elephant in the room here. Charlie Kirk was brutally murdered to shut him up, not simply because someone has a political axe to grind. It was the end result of years of left wing ideology that has dehumanized conservatives, branding them as racists, hate-mongers and bigots - unworthy of life. We see it online. We see it at political rallies. We see it at speeches on college campuses. For years your brethren on the left have exhibited a disdain for free speech, and a lack of respect for human life. And it's one sided. Liberals don't have to worry about security while attending a political rally. They don't have to worry about security at a college talk. Conservatives do.

And this has become the norm for conservatives. The left, a willing Democrat party and a complicit media has fomented such hatred for conservatives that this is now the norm.

The Dems are fascists. This culture of violence and disregard for legal norms are key features of historic fascism.

I can think of three possibilities:
1. He's trying to point out the irony of Charlie being an advocate of gun rights and accepting that there will be some gun deaths being murdered by an assassin with a gun.
2. He's implying that there is some form of cosmic justice in Charlie being murdered this way after making that argument. "Cosmic" might not be the proper word since IIRC hd doesn't believe in any divine power. I cannot think of another term.
3. His reason is so convoluted or evil that he fears we won't comprehend it or the moderators might be justified in banning him.

I hope it's the first and not one of the others. There might be other possibilities, I can only speculate.
