A guy called in this morning on 820AM (Dallas radio) and said his kids grew up with the ICE shooter. He said this kid was the nicest kid and he never saw anything as the kid grew up all the way through high school. So, this shooter must have become radicalized after.

Its strange as it would appear that he didnt target anyone in particular, just started wildly shooting

Any chance this is tied to Antifa?

They are witholding some info. We know that as they actually came out and said it. It has to do with his politics. Coming later

Can't imagine what my Dad thinks being born in 1950 in small town Texas. (We try to avoid politics talk…just makes us sad)

1. Abbott encouraging mass immigration from blue states while...
2. ...simultaneously not seeing the threat from mass islamic immigration while...
3. ...being blind to the threat that is growing within his own public school and university system.

This is spot on. Throughout the pandemic, I was hoping Abbott would STFU.

The mass migration turned Williamson County blue/purple. These morons leave unlivable places and many of them continue to vote the way that made their former home unlivable. It's remarkable.

I've concluded my investigation. Liberal clown fires indiscriminately into an ICE van, in an attempt to kill ICE agents, and ends up killing/injuring multiple detainees. The liberal clown shooter then kills himself in an attempt to achieve martyrdom.

THE END

He also shot up the building indiscriminately.

I would only change that he shot himself because he is a coward and knew he couldn't take the
heat if he were actually caught.

Prison would not fare well for a punk.

Very common.

There is a legion of hateful middle to upper middle class ultra progressive white women who are simply the most unbearable demographic of people on the planet.

One of her succinct posts
Quote:

'If we only have love, we can melt all the guns, and give the new world to our daughters and sons."

All that said, I feel bad for her that she was so deluded, and that her delusion contributed to the nutty weak son she raised to turned out to be exactly what she railed against the most. She lost a son, and even though he was an evil human being, the pain for her is still the same.

Here is the deal, firearms kill nobody.

Indoctrined mentally ill people kill.
Criminals kill.
Seriously depressed people who commit suicide kill themselves.

Blaming an inanimate object for a death instead of the trigger puller, is crazy.

Felony criminals and
the seriously mentally ill
should not have guns.

That is shocking. I'm sure glad no one on this board ever used such terroristic language.

As individuals I totally agree we shouldn't use such inflammatory language that could easily incite violence.

However, if someone here says it, nobody really cares and 12 guys on a message board sees it and it contributes to a circular arguement that goes nowhere.

If a Gov. Newsom says it, millions of people are influenced by it and hear it, and millions more cling to every word he says as if he is the authoirty on the subject.

No top level elected official should use such infalmmatory language, that includes both major parties.

This is true. I moved to Georgetown in the mid sixties out of high school when Williamson County was very rural and when it was one of the most conservative counties in the entire state. Much farmland and a portion of today's population. Relaxed atmosphere where everyone basically got along. As someone pointed out, Williamson County is now purple at a minimum and the change is terrible to have seen over the decades even as I later worked in the belly of the beast in Austin. With a population now of 100,000, Georgetown has been invaded by folks from all over the country and my blood pressure readings show it.

One of the last bastions of small town America is the Northeast corner of Texas in the Piney Woods and I fear that is about to change. I would wish that everyone had the experience of growing up in a small town as I did as those really were "the good old days". We had nothing but we had everything.

Great, then democrats need to stop inciting their people to violence throught their words. If there is ever an authoritarian government it certainly won't be coming from the republicans. There is a group of communist leaning people in America that is certainly gaining ground with the younger voter. The candidate for the NYC Major is one of them and he has a plenty of direct followers, and many other passive followers. These are the people we need to worrying about.

Spanish Civil War was communists vs fascists.

Actually, it was between the two wings of fascism.

I agree with this. While the (Spanish) Republicans were loyal to the left-leaning Popular Front government of the Second Spanish Republic, which was comprised primarily of socialists, anarchists, communists and separatists, the leftists were authoritarian, supported dictatorial leadership, and the forcible suppression of opposition - all of the hallmarks of fascism.

So, indeed, the lefties were in fact fascists, which bear striking similarities to today's left here in America.

True fascism is always a leftist ideology. The commonly taught notion that Fascism is a far right ideology is a lie and it always has been.

We agree on this. But where were you during the 4 years of the Biden admin, as multiple political prosecutions and censoring and de-platforming of conservative voices were taking place?

I was right here, evaluating each of those issues case by case, agreeing with some of Biden's decisions and disagreeing with others, the same as I do with Trump.

Yeah, I don't think so. I recall very few disagreements with Biden's actions in this area. I don't recall a single word about the deplatforming or censorship. I recall one critical comment on one of the cases against Trump but you pretty much said the rest were are valid. The censoring of conservative thought was absolutely rampant and you said very little.

This is a bit of revisionist history on your part.
I really couldn't care less. "Where were you when…" is a childish argument. And you rewriting history just tells me it's another day ending in "y."
The biggest hurdle you're facing here is the fact everyone else has a memory that spans longer than 1 year.
Far from it.

This right here is why this is happening. Politicians have got to stop going into the spotlight and spreading dangerous lies.

People think it's righteous to fight against fascism and when you convince those people that the government is fascist…they're going feel justified in carrying out violence toward it.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with calling out authoritarianism.

You so often lie about your previous positions, I am sure it's difficult to remember what you said. Nothing I said was false.

It's just ironic coming from a self-described conservative. You behave as anything but, yet like to pretend that's exactly what you are. Hell, you even buy the ridiculous trope that conservatives are white supremacists, as you suggested the other day. You sound like Jasmine Crockett.

I'd submit you should drop the pretenses and facades.
