This right here is why this is happening. Politicians have got to stop going into the spotlight and spreading dangerous lies.
People think it's righteous to fight against fascism and when you convince those people that the government is fascist…they're going feel justified in carrying out violence toward it.California Governor Gavin Newsom calls ICE arresting illegal aliens “authoritarian actions by an authoritarian government”. pic.twitter.com/z5auQI3h9q

That is shocking. I'm sure glad no one on this board ever used such terroristic language.
As individuals I totally agree we shouldn't use such inflammatory language that could easily incite violence.
However, if someone here says it, nobody really cares and 12 guys on a message board sees it and it contributes to a circular arguement that goes nowhere.
If a Gov. Newsom says it, millions of people are influenced by it and hear it, and millions more cling to every word he says as if he is the authoirty on the subject.
No top level elected official should use such infalmmatory language, that includes both major parties.
There's absolutely nothing wrong with calling out authoritarianism.
We agree on this. But where were you during the 4 years of the Biden admin, as multiple political prosecutions and censoring and de-platforming of conservative voices were taking place?
I was right here, evaluating each of those issues case by case, agreeing with some of Biden's decisions and disagreeing with others, the same as I do with Trump.
Yeah, I don't think so. I recall very few disagreements with Biden's actions in this area. I don't recall a single word about the deplatforming or censorship. I recall one critical comment on one of the cases against Trump but you pretty much said the rest were are valid. The censoring of conservative thought was absolutely rampant and you said very little.
This is a bit of revisionist history on your part.
I really couldn't care less. "Where were you when…" is a childish argument. And you rewriting history just tells me it's another day ending in "y."
The biggest hurdle you're facing here is the fact everyone else has a memory that spans longer than 1 year.
He'll quibble over some minute detail and claim you got it wrong, when the gist is completely accurate. Classic Sam Lowry. Such a fraud.
