What hidden meaning does "Christ is King" have to Groypers?

Unbelievable… Self-hating Christians, so worried about what others think. I expect more from the Catholic gentlemen. I pray for their salvation and that one day they unapologetically proclaim "Christ is King" once more

Really bizarre take. I am shocked you didn't know the phrase was code for something else entirely, and apologize for suggesting you were playing dumb.

I would submit there really is no evidence that any of the Groypers or America Firsters are actual Christians. I mean, there may be some, but we have no evidence that the Tuckers, Fishbacks and Candace Owens of the world believe in Christ. Their behavior certainly doesn't suggest it.

In terms of actual behavior, the Groypers seem more Christian than most on this board.

That opinion is no surprise - coming from someone who isn't a Christian and doesn't know what an actual Christian is.

Supporting an evil, despotic and demonic Islamic regime that kills and subjugates its own people and is responsible for numerous deaths throughout the Middle East and around the world is not Christian. It's quite the opposite. Sorry.

You're lost.

What's evil is attempting to defend or downplay the actions of a truly and objectively evil regime. What's also evil is wishing for America to lose because you can't stand Jews. Those are all beliefs that Nick Fuentes (and presumably his groypers) holds. And indeed, contrary to your assertions, those are morally depraved positions.

Gotta say, I am a bit shocked you're defending such morally depraved beliefs.

If you read back through my posts about the war and Judaism I have not once said anything remotely approaching what you are accusing me of. But what those of you who cry wolf don't realize is that when everyone is an antisemite, no one is. You throw the term around like BLM threw the term racist around, and the charge itself becomes laughable even in the face of actual racism against semitic people.

I reject your Christian Zionism as a heresy. This is a viewpoint that (1) is the historic position of the Church for 2000 years, and (2) far more widespread than whatever Nick Fuentes is doing/saying. It is the position of the Roman Catholic Church, the Eastern Orthodox Church, the Coptic Church, the Ethopian Church, Lutheranism, and on down the line. In fact, outside of evangelical and pentecostal circles, it is nonexistent.

What I am saying is far from a "morally depraved belief."

What I am saying is far from a "morally depraved belief."

Indeed, let's take a look back at your posts because, respectfully, you're kind of all over the place.

Your initial response to my post which began this exchange was a defense of the groypers' position on Iran. In your defense of the groypers, you attributed a number of strawmen argument to me, inferring that I was saying one cannot question the wisdom of the Iran war, when that was clearly not what I said or even suggested (as I later clarified) in the post you were responding to.

Instead, if you will read back through that original post that you so badly mischaracterized, I said that supporting an evil, despotic and demonic Islamic regime that kills and subjugates its own people and is responsible for numerous deaths throughout the Middle East and around the world is not Christian. Now, in that post, I was referring to two things specifically - 1) Sam's 20-year defense and support for the Iranian regime, which I understand you are likely unaware of given your brief time on these boards; and 2) more generally, the comments of the groypers' leader, Nick Fuentes, who has expressed strong support for the Iranian regime and leaders, and is rooting for them against his own country (and certainly, Israel).

Remarkably, however, you somehow attributed those comments to mean that I was suggesting it was immoral or unchristian to question the wisdom of the Iran war, which is quite frankly, an incredible (and perhaps, purposeful) mischaracterization of my comments.

In response to your mischaracterizations, I gave you the benefit of the doubt that you had simply badly misunderstood my comments, and clarified for you what I was referencing: again, wishing for America to lose because you can't stand Jews. And I asked you how you could defend such behavior. Ironically, in response, you attempted to argue I had mischaracterized your defense of the groypers. If that is not the case, then please do clarify, as given your defense of them on this thread, that seems like a reasonable conclusion. So far, it doesn't appear to have been addressed by you. Indeed, I can find no post on this thread critical of the groyper's position.

As far as accusing someone of antisemtism, I don't make the accusation lightly, but I suspect we can both agree that Fuentes is a racist and an antisemite. And I think we can also say that some of his followers, including a handful of them on this board, are likewise antisemites. Barbearian comes directly to mind. Ironically, although you've accused me of using the Antisemite label too broadly, I've never seen you say a critical word of his use of anti-Jewish slurs and caricatures. Indeed, you've constantly defended him against such accusations, and regularly take issue with the very definition of the word. Thus, it would appear you don't believe anything, perhaps short of someone who wishes Jews were sent to the gas chambers, is antisemitic. That being the case, you might consider you are not the best judge of someone's overuse of that term.

Moreover, when a group of far-righters, such as the groypers and America Firsters, use the phrase, "Christ is King", and those individuals very clearly are not Christian, don't live according to Christ's commands, or consistently violate his teachings, I think any reasonable Christian understands that phrase, instead of being used to show respect and reverence for Christ, is instead being used as a pejorative aimed at those of the Jewish faith. As another astute poster pointed out, it is a cudgel being used by those of bearbearians ilk to criticize Judaism in general, as well as the state of Israel. And again, if you are in fact a Christian, as you purport to be, you also know it is being used by people who either aren't Christian or certainly produce no fruit indicating that they are. Quite frankly, I am not sure how else to describe such conduct other than antisemitic in nature. And again, I think any reasonable person would agree with me.

Finally, with respect to the Zionist label, I don't consider myself as such. I would submit that what those of you who cry wolf when throwing around that term don't realize is that when everyone is an Zionist, no one is. You throw the term around like BLM threw the term racist around, and the charge itself becomes laughable even in the face of actual Zionism.

Respectfully, it would help our dialogue quite a bit if you could learn to refrain from mischaracterizing my positions. It has become a pretty bad habit, as you have attributed numerous positions to me that I do not hold. The vast majority of my posts are trying to correct your mischaracterizations, and as evidenced by your last post, I think we can both agree it's not fun and not productive. I would suggest in the future reading what I write in an attempt to understand it, instead of refute it.

Another thing that would be helpful is to address points actually raised in retort, instead of ignoring them. You also have a terrible habit of ignoring the facts or evidence that are inconvenient for your positions. This thread is a perfect example. It is intellectually dishonest, and frustrating dealing with someone who just picks and chooses what he wants to respond to or address. It certainly lessens the desire to engage with someone such as yourself.

Yes, I'm sure all the groypers who found the phrase "Christ is King" over the last couple of years and like to use it as a cudgel will be happy to explain to you how His kingdom is not of this world, render unto Caesar what is Caesar's, the general Jewish disappointment in a messiah who did not bring about any earthly conquest but came in riding a donkey rather than a war horse, etc...

Not sure what any of that has to do with my point.

I've decided to do some investigation into the modern religion of Judaism and its teachings, which of course extend beyond what is written in the Old Testament. To be up front, I totally reject Christian Zionism as a heresy. The church has believed for the 1900 or so years from the resurrection till 1946 that it is the fulfillment of Old Testament scripture. What is slandered as "replacement theology" is actually fulfillment theology.

One of the interesting concepts in Judaism is that Tanya posits that non Jews possess a nefesh bahamit ("animalistic soul") whereas only Jews possess a nefesh elokit ("G-dly soul").

So what is the Tanya? The Tanya (Hebrew: ) is an early work of Hasidic philosophy by Shneur Zalman of Liadi, the first Rebbe of Chabad, first published in 1796.

So what is Chabad? Chabad, also known as Lubavitch, Habad and Chabad-Lubavitch is a Hasidic dynasty and global movement within Haredi Judaism. It is among the world's largest, most influential, and most publicly visible movements of Hasidic Judaism, known for its extensive network of institutions and active engagement with Jews of all affiliations worldwide, in contrast to the generally insular orientation of most Haredi groups.

Here's the group's own explanation of their origins. Note one of their statements in particular: "The name Lubavitch conveys the essence of the responsibility and love engendered by the Chabad philosophy toward every single Jew." Not mankind, not for the kids. Nothing broad about it. It is a Jewish-supremacist organization. Chabad rabbi, Yitzhak Ginsburgh, says "Gentile souls are of a completely different and inferior order. They are totally evil with no redeeming qualities whatsoever. There is something infinitely more holy and unique about Jewish life than non-Jewish life."

There's a whole lot there, including a splinter group that thought that one of their leaders who died in 1994 was the Messiah.

This becomes important because certain individuals around the President of the United States have deep ties to this group. "Kushner brothers and their families pledge $2 million to Chabad". Lutnik is also linked with them, "accompanied Trump to the grave of the late spiritual leader of the Chabad-Lubavitch Hasidic movement, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson [the guy some thought was the messiah], last month." And there's the Adelsons, with Miriam Adelson donating quite a bit to Trump 2024: "Harlig first met Adelson and his wife, Dr. Miriam Adelson, in 1991, not long after the young rabbi and his wife, Dina, established Chabad in Las Vegas. Over time, their relationship grew, and the Adelson family name now graces the Harligs' Chabad centerone of eight Chabads in Las Vegas."

We're going to tackle the issue of Judaism and Christianity openly, directly, and with lots of sunlight at a very high intellectual level. No topic will be beyond the pale. By the time we're done, the Hal Lindsey crowd won't be able to casually throw around "anti-semitic" as a slur...and nobody will be under any illusions about the myth of Judeo-Christian tradition.

More later, my fellow animal-souled goyim.

I am curious - what constitutes Antisemitism in your book, and is there anyone whose conduct you believe rises to that level? I mean, obviously your little buddy, barBearian isn't Antisemitic . Would Hitler be Antisemitic, or would you take issue with that label even when applied to him? In short, is ANYONE actually Antisemitic in your opinion, or are they all just misunderstood and maligned souls?

That opinion is no surprise - coming from someone who isn't a Christian and doesn't know what an actual Christian is.

Supporting an evil, despotic and demonic Islamic regime that kills and subjugates its own people and is responsible for numerous deaths throughout the Middle East and around the world is not Christian. It's quite the opposite. Sorry.

You're lost.

Questioning the wisdom of a war does not equate with supporting the opposing regime.

Questioning the foreign/domestic policy of a nation state or the theology of a different religion does not constitute racism.

Unfortunately you regularly fall into both intellectual tiger pits.

Believe it or not, it is quite rational to oppose both the Obama strategy towards Iran and the Netanyahu/Trump strategy towards Iran.

Unfortunately, you've once again interjected yourself into a conversation and lack the context to understand what I was referencing.

I never said or suggested any of the things you mentioned. So all you've done is erected a number of strawmen, as you so often do. I don't disagree with any of the points raised in your post.

Sam knows what I was referencing and it is specific to him - his beliefs. And those beliefs go back 20 plus years.

Not really. You're referencing nationalist propaganda, as usual.

Anyone who's read your posts over the years knows 2 things: 1) you think your country is evil; and 2) always side with the dictators and despots.

It's your thing…

Sam does not believe our country is evil & doesn't always side with dictators

You're a smart guy

Respectfully, he absolutely does, and has a long history on this board proving as such, whether it's the Iranian Mullahs, the Russians, the Iraqis, pre-WWII Japan, pre-WWII Germany, etc. I mean, here is a guy who claims the last just military conduct America was engaged in was the War of 1812. He absolutely believes we are evil.

You might want to ask him, or do a little research. I am sure it is a tough pill for you to swallow.

No nation is altogether good or evil, nor is any nation above criticism. Dictators and despots are a red herring.

Care to elaborate?

What hidden meaning does "Christ is King" have to Groypers?

lol. The feigning ignorance is cute.

You have no evidence if anyone actually believes in Christ in general, only God knows someone's heart.

I don't keep up with Candace Owens, but I'm surprised you said Tucker… what about his behavior is anti-Christian? He promotes traditional family values and is anti-war… that sounds more aligned with Christ than any of these bloodlust Christian-Zionists, obsessed with blowing up brown people on the other side of the world

Christians are known by their fruit.

Matthew 7:16-20: By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? 17 Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them.

And what is their fruit?

Galataian 5:22-23: But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

So, while you are correct only God knows a person's heart, when that individual shows no fruit, and in fact, demonstrates an attitude and lifestyle that are contrary to Christ's commands, then that individual is displaying evidence that he or she is not actually saved.

Tucker, by way of example, regularly talks about all of the people he hates, and demonstrated a viciousness and vindictiveness toward others that is contrary to Christ's command to love one's neighbor. It is a topic that he discusses consistently - all of the people he hates. Christians - real Christians - do not talk that way. He is also an admitted liar.

One can be traditional family values and anti-war and still be a bitter and lost soul.

Mothra knows these things. He's keeping a list and checking it twice. So you'd best get on board with blowing up brown people if you don't want coal in your stocking...in hell.

Another purported Christian that demonstrates an ignorance of scripture. You really need to crack open your bible, Sam.

As for blowing people up, I don't approve of killing any innocents, regardless of color. In that way I am different from you - who are perfectly fine with killing Ukrainians.

It's not my take, but the clear and plain language of scripture. It's Christ's own words. You may not, but I choose to believe him.

As for who are the good Christian voices on the right, for me at least, they're mostly pastors. But as for non-pastors, Charlie Kirk was certainly one of them.

So, you're cool with the opinion that every American War since the War of 1812 was unjust and immoral? You're cool with defending the Japanese attack of Pearl Harbor?

If so, it sounds like we aren't going to find much agreement on anything. I think that's a pretty reprehensible position. I think most reasonable Americans would as well.

That's certainly a take… Now I'm curious, who do you think are good Christian voices on the Right? Politicians, influencers, etc

It's not my take, but the clear and plain language of scripture. It's Christ's own words. You may not, but I choose to believe him.

As for who are the good Christian voices on the right, for me at least, they're mostly pastors. But as for non-pastors, Charlie Kirk was certainly one of them.

Interesting. What do you think of Trump, JD, Rubio, Cruz, and Graham? Are you worried about their salvation?

We definitely disagree on that and I think the overwhelming weight of evidence supports my position. However, the last part of your sentence is particularly interesting. You said: Sam doesn't always side with dictators. It suggests that you understand he often times does, certainly if that dictator is opposed to America.

Is it troubling to you that Sam believes that Japan was justified in attacking Pearl Harbor? Is it troubling that the last American military action he thought was just and moral was the war of 1812? Is it likewise troubling that despite this fact, he believes that Russia's aggression against Ukraine is morally just?

I would think those positions would give even a poster who thinks as much of Sam as you do serious pause.

Indeed, I am very concerned about Trump, who essentially has admitted he is not a Christian, and undoubtedly lives a life that doesn't demonstrate he is. There is simply no evidence that Trump is Christian.

As for Vance, I am likewise concerned with his faith, as he has married an individual who is Hindu and is allowing his children to be raised in that faith. He is also Catholic, which is a huge concern. These circumstances call into serious question whether he is in fact saved.

Rubio? Well, I had never heard him say much about his faith until Charlie's funeral, at which he literally recounted the message of salvation. If that is what he believes, then it does indeed sound like he has a relationship with Christ that is very real and authentic.

I don't know much about Cruz or Graham's faith, if any.

I have many Catholic friends. We have a very large Catholic Church down the street from us, and many on the street are Catholic. I can say with certainty that only one of those couples is Christian and understands grace and the Gospel message.

Catholicism is a very works-based faith, and it is shocking to me how many of my Catholic friends don't even understand the most central tenets of the faith and Christ's message of grace. I am not saying it's impossible, as I do think there are Catholic Christians, but I think it has led many astray.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised. It sometimes hard to stand up for what's right and call out evil behavior, especially among friends. I'll be praying you develop some courage and much better discernment.

Silly post

So, you're cool with the opinion that every American War since the War of 1812 was unjust and immoral? You're cool with defending the Japanese attack of Pearl Harbor?

If so, it sounds like we aren't going to find much agreement on anything. I think that's a pretty reprehensible position. I think most reasonable Americans would as well.

Sam does not believe our country is evil & doesn't always side with dictators

I can disagree with Sam without making judgments on his support of dictators & despots, or his Christian walk

Interesting. So you're not willing to make a judgment call on whether it's wrong to support dictators and despots? You're not willing to be critical of calling Putin's aggression in Ukraine morally just?

I guess I shouldn't be surprised. It sometimes hard to stand up for what's right and call out evil behavior, especially among friends. I'll be praying you develop some courage and much better discernment.

Selective outrage.

Israel is about to annex all of southern Lebanon... I doubt i'll see one post from you calling out Netanyahu's aggression in Lebanon as morally unjust.
