  • "Semitic" is a race

  • Correct. Semites are a race.

    Quote:

  • It is not defined by language

  • Correct.

    Quote:

  • It is not consistently identifiable by phenotype (since you rejected those examples)

  • Incorrect. There are, for example, many Ashkenazi Jews who are phenotypically central european and some who are even northern european, and who are phenotypically distinct from both Sephardic Jews, and Ethopian Jews. This actually undercuts your argument that Jews constitute a single race.

    Quote:

Second, your India analogy actually undercuts your argument. Modern population genetics does not recognize "two races" in India in any clear biological sense - India is one of the most genetically diverse regions on earth, with continuous variation rather than discrete racial boundaries. So appealing to that example doesn't clarify your definition; it highlights how imprecise the concept of "race" becomes when you try to apply it biologically.

This shows how little you know about racial categories. There are Aryan Indians in north and central India who phenotypically are similar to the people of Afghanistan, Iran, and Greece...and Dravidian Indians who tend to be phenotypically simillar to subsaharan africans/australian aboriginals.

    Quote:

Fourth, you rejected that Ethiopian Jews and European Jews are the same race - but again, that creates a problem for your framework. If groups historically labeled "Semitic" can belong to visibly and genetically distinct populations, then the term is clearly not functioning as a coherent biological category.

Ashkenazi Jews and Ethopian Jews are obviously not of the same race. Just because Amharic has some semitic influences doesn't mean that they are of the same race as Ashkenazi or Sephardic Jews. Just because they practice the same religion doesn't make them the same race. You still can't get past the incoherent insistence that Jews are a race.

    Quote:

Fifth, the quotation you provided actually reinforces my point, not yours. It explicitly states that Levantine populations have overlapping genetic profiles and blurred boundaries, which is exactly what we would expect from geographically proximate, historically intermixed populations; not from distinct, clearly bounded "races."

Wrong. What this actually proves is that the semitic peoples are a race identifiable by certain haplotypes. It does NOT prove that the Jews are a race. You're the one who is trying to create a fictional race of Jews out of whole cloth and separate it from the broader race of semites that surround them. Now if you wanted to make the case that racially Ashkenazi Jews constitute a separate race from both Ethopian (easy) and Sephardic (a little more difficult) Jews that might be something you could build. But that too would undercut your argument that there is a "jewish race".

Anyway, back to the main point here.

Opposition to Israel is not anti-semitism.

Opposition to Judaism is not anti-semitism.

The Jew is someone who follows or identiifies with Judaism, a religion not a race.

But you're in good company in making your argument:

"To begin with, the Jews are unquestionably a race, not a religious community."
    - Adolf Hitler, 1919, The Gemlich Letter

Apparently you agree with Hitler, and I agree with science.

Your position keeps shifting, and that's really the core problem here. You're insisting that "Semites are a race," but at the same time you've said it's not defined by language, you haven't identified any specific genetic markers that define it, and your own examples about phenotype actually show how different these groups look rather than what unites them. At that point, you're not really describing a biological category.

Your phenotype argument actually works against you. Pointing out that Ashkenazi Jews can look Northern European, Sephardic Jews Mediterranean, and Ethiopian Jews East African doesn't prove a shared race - it shows there isn't a consistent physical profile tying them together. A race, if it's a valid biological category, should have some identifiable and consistent traits. What you've described is the opposite.

The same issue comes up with your reference to genetics. You mention "haplotypes," but you don't actually identify which ones define this supposed "Semitic race" or how they clearly separate it from neighboring populations. That matters, because real population genetics shows overlapping ancestry and gradual variation in those regions, not clean, discrete boundaries. Just using a genetics term without specifying anything concrete doesn't establish your claim.

Your example about India has the same problem. Your position on "Aryan" and "Dravidian" as distinct biological races is outdated and not supported by modern genetics. So that example doesn't strengthen your argument. It just shows reliance on an older way of thinking about race that science has largely moved past.

More fundamentally, your position doesn't hold together logically. You've rejected language, you haven't defined genetics, and your own phenotype are inconsistent. That leaves you with a category that can't be clearly defined or consistently applied. And if you can't say what makes someone part of a group in objective, testable terms, then it's not functioning as a scientific category.

So the question is still very simple: what clear, objective criteria would you use to determine whether a specific person is part of this "Semitic race"? Until that's answered in a consistent and testable way, the concept you're arguing for isn't grounded in science.

The guy is trying to appeal to a certain audience. Seems like he's trying a reset at this point. He knows Rubio is clearly ahead of him, and is trying to pivot.

JD Vance is a chameleon, he's constantly changing things about himself to appeal to certain groups. I don't trust him as far as I can throw him and I hope others from our camp feel the same.

True... whereas Rubio is a Ted Cruz type career politician who has always worked for Israel and his Jewish donors over the interests of the United States. Rubio is consistent, in that he has never indicated he would ever buck Israel on anything and they will have his complete obedience if elected President.

This is why I am hoping Massie will run... Rubio and Vance will split the establishment (Israel First) vote.

I'm with you man, one is a total chameleon, the other is a career DC-swamp creature. We're going to need a good wildcard in 2028

Just curious: what is a DC swamp creature, and how is Rubio one? He's been in office around the same length of time as Massie.

Career politician, opportunist. No real beliefs, just seeking power.

Marco Rubio is a career politician. Thomas Massie was an engineer/entrepreneur.

When you say he has no real beliefs but is just seeking power, what evidence do you have of that position?

Lmao, Wdym provide evidence? Do you expect me to provide a quote or something? It's my opinion.

His first campaign was a failure so now he's using Trump to put himself in position to be the Republican nominee for 2028. Similar to nearly all of the establishment republicans, he despised him at first, made his opinions publicly known, and now he's kissing ass because he knows he needs his blessing going forward.

Also he lied about his parents fleeing communist Cuba. They left years before Castro took power.

I understand its merely your opinion, but was curious if you actually had any evidence to support it - like most reasonable people who lodge such accusations.

It sounds like the answer is no. You've just decided you dislike him, for whatever reason, and so you make a baseless and unsupported accusation.

Give me a list of 20 thing Marco Rubio has done to make life better here in America from his position of power?

So why 20? Can you name 20 things Thomas Massie has done to make life better here in America from his position of power? How about MTG?

It sounds like the answer is no. You've just decided you like him, for whatever reason, and so you give baseless and unsupported praise.

I like Rubio because he communicates conservative ideas clearly, stays composed under pressure, and is effective at challenging opposing arguments without losing focus. In that regard, he's probably the best in the business. He's articulate, disciplined, and able to explain complex policy positions in a way that's easy to follow. In today's soundbite world, I think that would make for an effective communicator and leader.

I also support many of his policy positions, including:
    • Strong national defense and foreign policy
    • Border security and enforcement of immigration laws
    • Support for free enterprise and market-based economics
    • Opposition to excessive government regulation
    • Support for law enforcement and public safety
    • Pro-life positions
    • Emphasis on American sovereignty and national interest in global affairs
Those are a few of the things I like. I see no evidence he is a "DC swam creature."

I've made a claim, with clear reasoning, so it's not baseless. But it appears I've struck a nerve because you're a fan of little Marco.

Never make a statement about a politician again if you don't have concrete evidence to back it up.

You believe you've provided reasoning? Really???

Huh. Ok. So what's the reasoning again? That he's been in congress a while? His first campaign was a failure? His parents didn't flee Cuba? That makes him, somehow, a DC swam creature?

    Huh.

First, you have no evidence supporting your position. So this isn't about me "rejecting evidence." It's that you haven't provided any clear, testable definition at all. If you can't explain what makes someone part of this "race" in any objective, coherent or generally accepted terms, then it's not scientific. Instead, it's merely an unsupported label to support your ridiculous narrative.

It is clear the little Marco and Bessent are the only 2 adults in the administration. However, the fawning over Piggy is problematic. It suggests no self respect and is just gross. I wish these 2 would buck him, but that gets you fired. Haven't figured out what Bessent would put up with that crap as wealthy as he is. Thank you Soros (for Assman).

I suspect it's because they're much smarter than either of us, and are much more pragmatic than you. Ensure they can see the forest through the trees. As actual conservatives, and not just an individual who plays one on a message board, they realize that Trump's policies are far better for the country. And short, they're not focused on personalities and superfluous things. They don't get distracted like you do.

What is conservative about Scott Bessent? He's a gay man with two surrogate children. And he's surely not a fiscal conservative because he strongly supports the Big Beautiful Bill.

Anyone know what legislation or issues Massie actually supports? I get the professional contrarian thing. But other than opposing any spending (something I appreciate) and being an isolationist (something I find foolish), I am not sure why people get so excited about him. Yes, he authored the Epstein Act, and insinuated some massive govt. coverup of elites, but nothing at all has materialized.

Here is you questioning what Massie supports. What does Marco Rubio support? By all means, he shifts his views to whatever is popular in the Republican Party.

I don't believe I ever suggest in that quote that Massie has no real beliefs, but ok. I do think Massie is a libertarian, and contrarian.

I gave a list above of the things Rubio supports. I am not sure why you believe he shifts his views to whatever is popular. Can you give several examples?

You say frequently use "contrarian" as if it's a bad thing. What's wrong with challenging the status quo?

Rubio was a Reagan-style conservative who was a major critic of Trump (similar to the rest of the party). He goes with what's popular in the party at the moment. I prefer independent thinkers.

Being a contrarian and really having no defined policy positions as a problem. Being a contrary, and for sake of being a contrary and is a problem. Government is about compromise. We don't get to take our ball and go home.

Ask for Rubio, your complaint is that he is now aligned with Trump? Really???. Well I guess that excluded MTG in Massey as well as they were once strongly aligned with him.

No because Trump was based at one point, now he's certified goyim.

Why didn't you just come out and say it's because of his position on the Jews. You could agree with him on everything else, but that one issue is a dealbreaker for you guys.

There's an old saying that I think applies here. Perfect is the enemy of good.

I certainly don't agree with the Trump admin on everything. In fact, I'd say I don't agree with the Trump admin on many things. What I recognize however, is he is far and away better than the alternative.

It's all about the Jews, of course. Tucker Carlson's hatred is all-consuming.

I heard an interview of him a few days ago where he's now come out and said Charlie Kirk "obviously" wasn't killed by a trannie-loving nutjob, but instead because he was starting to end his support for Israel. In short, once again, the Jews.

Carlson's argumentative style often relies on asserting conclusions rather than demonstrating them. He frequently uses phrases like "obviously" or "of course" to imply that his claims are self-evident, even when they are speculative or lack supporting evidence. This gives the impression of certainty without actually engaging in rigorous reasoning or presenting proof.

What I find difficult to understand is why this approach continues to resonate with so many people, given the absence of clear evidence behind many of his assertions.

You guys are one note Johnny's

Because it's wrong. I have criticized Trump for tariffs, BBB, low deportations, Epstein debacle, Covid lockdowns, BLM debacle, suspicious family business dealings, AND being a goyim.

Yet, the straw that broke the camel's back was the Jews. And therein lies my point. That one issue is all-consuming for you. It's incredible to me that you guys let your hatred of Israel skew everything else.

Here's the question: When you stop voting Republican, what is your plan for preventing the leftist tyranny that we know will inevitably result?

No, it wasn't the "Jews". I distinctly remember viewing Trump unfavorably before the "12-Day War" in 2025. How are you going to tell me what issue is most consuming for me? And so what if it is? Israelis are genocidal maniacs

That's my expression when I see boomers cry about Nazis but ignore genocidal Israelis

I've never even see you condemn the Nazis, but that's a subject for another day.

The idea that Israel is doing to Gaza what the Nazis did to Jews is just a pure work of fiction. There is no evidence to support the former. There is substantial evidence of the latter.

What a shock! Who could have seen that coming????

We are taking the Israel First Republican party behind the barn and putting it out of its misery.

I voted the last 8 or 9 elections down ticket Republican. I'm sitting it out in November. The Iran war was the last straw for me. You ******* Boomers are so damn obsessed with serving the jews you'll let this country go to hell and fall to pieces for your lunatic aspirations of Greater Israel

It isn't about serving the Jews; It's about furthering our national interest (i.e. dismantling and inhibiting a nuclear Iran who has vowed to destroy us). But when our interests align, and Isreal will actually do things that further our national interest (bombing Iran, destroying Hesbolah), we shouldn't decline because they are Jews.

Your test seems to be "Will this action help the Jews? If so, don't do it." I'm saying the test should be "Does this help the US? If so, do it."

Exactly. It amazes me something so obvious gets lost on others.

I think many of the Jew haters forget that Iran seeks to destroy us.
