He has to win the primary tomorrow and the general in November before we start talking about anything bigger. But he certainly is the type of candidate who will have a shot in 2028.

I know this is the Anti-Semitic America Firsters' wet dream, but a teen diddler who is currently polling about 40 points behind Donalds in the primary doesn't seem to have much of a shot in a Republican primary in 2028 (thank God).

You won't be voting for the Sec. of State because he extended congratulations to an ally on its independence day???

Man do you have some really bizarre takes.

I won't either. Rubio is a pro mass immigration globalist. He's been that since he partnered with John McCain in the gang of eight.

Rubio has shown no indication as Sec. of State, or as a Senator since Trump's election, that he is a "mass immigration globalist." Indeed, to associate him, or any politician for that matter, with a position he may have held 13 years ago is bizarre. Positions change over time. Trump was once a Democrat.

Given Rubio's current positions, I suspect he's much more in line with you America Firsters than an mass immigration globalist.

In other news, Thomas Massie and MTG aren't getting elected. Sorry.

Reagan famously was an FDR Democrat then switched parties after the war.

Damn liberal Democrat!

He fought a good fight but idk if it's enough to overcome By'rone Donalds and his Swamp-backing. Florida boomers hate their grandkids

Democracy is cursed in 2026.

I know Desantis is an Israel goon, but I genuinely think he did a good job governing Florida. By'rone will surely squander it

Not sure what an Israel goon is in your book - probably anyone who doesn't hate Jews - but we agree here. Would love Desantis as the nominee.

Not that I recall.

I get why you like him since hating Jews is number one on the list of criteria but I'd submit when you try to toss the guys moral character as a basis for voting for him, you might want to be a little more careful given his history.

But it's not going to matter at the end of the day. Fishbacks chances of getting elected are about as good as Massie's - somewhere around zero percent

Well yes, Trump's campaigning over the years has emphasized traditional family values.

However, Trump has said and been accused of acts worse than Fishback has. We can run those back if you'd like.

Yet these things weren't an issue when you voted for Trump, why is that? Why do you only care about what Fishback has been accused of? Perhaps you value a candidates position on middle eastern foreign policy over their morals.

Also I found it interesting that you said "you guys" claim that Fishback is a good person, I don't remember saying that, nor do I recall anyone else on here expressing that Fishback is a "good family values guy."

Not sure what you mean by "emphasizing family values." If by that you mean that is Trump's policy positions, I would generally agree. But quite frankly, I think you're just making stuff up at this point.

I've never heard a single person ever say we should vote for Trump because he is a family man with a good moral character. For me personally, I've repeatedly gone on record as saying I think Trump is a scumbag in his personal life, and that I had to hold my nose and vote for him because he was better than the alternative. Not once have I ever advocated that he is a "good" man, or man of moral character, as you have with Fishback.

As for Fishback, I will repeat - I was responding to your claim that he is a "good" man of high moral character by pointing to the evidence suggesting otherwise. Perhaps that kind of nuance is difficult for you to understand.

And yes, you did say it.

Dude you need to quit day drinking. When did I make a claim that he was a man of high moral character? Can you find this?

I support Fishback because I like his policy and views. Although I think he's a decent guy, I never made a claim saying his character was the reasoning for my support. You must've dreamt that.

But since morals don't matter all that much to you (shocker) can you explain to everyone why you think By'rone would be a better governor than Fishback?

I'm not going to comb through an entire thread looking for your prior posts. What I recall is you describing Fishback as "a good man." We then spent several posts discussing what that meant and whether the facts supported that characterization.

At this point, though, it doesn't really matter. My disagreement was with the claim that he was a good man. If you're now saying that your support for him is based on his policies rather than his character, then that's fine. We can leave the character discussion there.

And who said morals don't matter? Certainly not me. They matter. The question is what matters more when choosing public officials: personal virtue or public policy. If forced to choose between a morally flawed person pursuing policies I believe are good and a morally upright person pursuing policies I believe are harmful, I'll take the better policies every time. Those policies affect my family and my community. Whether a politician is a good husband or a bad husband does not.

That's why I voted for Trump over Harris. It wasn't because I viewed Trump as a model of character. I've repeatedly said the opposite.

As for Donalds, I haven't been following that race closely enough to give a detailed comparison. What I do know is that a candidate whose public persona is centered on hostility toward Jews and who makes comments about lynching Black people is going to be a non-starter for most reasonable voters.

James Fishback 2028

He has to win the primary tomorrow and the general in November before we start talking about anything bigger. But he certainly is the type of candidate who will have a shot in 2028.

I know this is the Anti-Semitic America Firsters' wet dream, but a teen diddler who is currently polling about 40 points behind Donalds in the primary doesn't seem to have much of a shot in a Republican primary in 2028 (thank God).

Thanks for the commentary, White Knight. Oddly enough, Trumps sexual past was never enough to stop you from voting for him.

Did Trump claim to be a "good" family values guy like you guys claimed fishback is? Was he proven to be a teen diddler?

Mothra judging Fishback's morals is similar to a pile of trash judging the asthetics of an ancient Greek statue

It's hilarious to me that you think you can make a judgment call on such things, given that if we took a poll, you'd win most hateful and morally bankrupt person on this board.

lol I'd be called hateful and morally bankrupt by the same clowns who call the IDF the world's "most moral" army.

As has been discussed at length before, Fishback was not "proven to be a teen diddler." He did date and live with an 18 year old when he was 27. The "teen diddler" is simple slander you're throwing around because you don't like his America first positions.

If we're discussing age gaps, how old is Karoline Leavitt? How old is her husband?

Oh, and speaking of kid diddling, what are your thoughts on this Islamic teaching:

"A girl of the age of three years and one day may be betrothed by intercourse and if a yavam had intercourse with her, he acquires her thereby?"

Oh, and speaking of kid diddling, what are your thoughts on this Islamic teaching:

"A girl of the age of three years and one day may be betrothed by intercourse and if a yavam had intercourse with her, he acquires her thereby?"

Let's discuss proven facts, shall we?

  • Fort and Fishback moved in together about a week after she turned 18;
  • 18 years old is still a teenager.
  • Fishback was 27 years old at the time.
  • Fishback was one of Fort's debate coaches at her high school (and later, he employed her), though he was not a teacher at the school.
  • She claims the relationship was sexual, and he doesn't deny same.
Can we agree on the foregoing?

Now, let's discuss the slang term that's so triggering for you: A teen "diddler" is a slang term used to describe an older adult that engages in sexual activity with a teen or targeting a teen.

Do you dispute that Fishback was 27 years old and having sexual relations with an 18-year-old (at a minimum)? If not, then I am not sure why you're so triggered by the term teen diddler, as it is a completely accurate description of Fishback.

Now, let's discuss some other facts:

  • Fort claims that the relationship began in the spring of 2022, when she was only 17 years old.
  • She claims he told her to keep it a secret until she turned 18.
  • And coincidentally, they moved in together just after she turned 18.
I realize Fishback disputes such allegations (of course he would - he doesn't want to go to jail), but the timing of their moving in together certainly suggested a romantic relationship began before she turned 18, unless of course you hate Jews and you love Fishback's anti-Jewish rhetoric and therefore want to defend him.

Sound about right, Jew hater?

As for my thoughts on Islam? It is a scourge, both demonic and evil, and it is the greatest threat to freedom that exists in the world today. It's all the more reason people should be very concerned with the current crop of "America Firsters" and their cozying up with this evil ideology (see bowtie).

Not sure what that has to do with the present discussion of Fishback being a proven teen diddler.

It has nothing to do with Fishback.

It actually has nothing to do with Islam, either.

It's actually the teaching from your favorite country and its favorite religion, the Mishnah Niddah 5:4:1-2: "A girl of the age of three years and one day may be betrothed by intercourse and if a yavam had intercourse with her, he acquires her thereby."

Disgusting, isn't it? Now I'm no defender of Islam or Judaism as you well know. But that fact that you didn't recognize its source correctly says quite a bit about your inability to discuss these matters rationally.

And it is things like that which led God to tell the Jews:

"Woe to you who desire the day of the Lord!
For what good is the day of the Lord to you?
It will be darkness, and not light.
It will be as though a man fled from a lion,
And a bear met him!
Or as though he went into the house,
Leaned his hand on the wall,
And a serpent bit him!
Is not the day of the Lord darkness, and not light?
Is it not very dark, with no brightness in it?
"I hate, I despise your feast days,
And I do not savor your sacred assemblies.
Though you offer Me burnt offerings and your grain offerings,
I will not accept them,
Nor will I regard your fattened peace offerings.
Take away from Me the noise of your songs,
For I will not hear the melody of your stringed instruments."
