Not worried about it.
Neither is Trump.
From Day One he knew two years was his timeline.

Sounding like Sam
No billionaire comes within a half inch of getting his brains blown out on national television just to make an additional billion.
You need to be responsible for YOU.
Yeah like those responsible people that did nothing but show up for work and do their job only to get bounced? Or keeping the Government shut and reducing the capacity of airports as a political move to turn up the pain? Or, not funding food programs. Or, prices through the roof creating pain never mentioned before being elected. Overall, more people are worse off now than under Biden. Dont give me the be resposible for you from a land developer.
You sure like your excuses.
Every cattlemen knows you have to save lots of money in the good years; to survive the bad years.
Those that don't save enough……that's their responsibility.
No one else's.
Man up.
Every land developer knows how to suck up to the local for Government subsidies, tax exemptions, land development code changes, etc... You play the role here of self made hate Government assistance, yet you talk of your housing developments. Land developers are neck deep in the trough. i did the traffic work for 15 years for developers you guys suck as much out as you can get. Scratch the dirt off of a rancher and you have a developer... Selling off family legacy others built for their profit. Seen many a 100 year family farm and ranch end because the last generation sold it off and developed it for houses, avoiding as much infrastructure as possible. Leaving it for the local government to provide at the tax payers expense.
The correct version of your saying is ranchers sell off family legacy in property for lean years.... How many acres did you get and how many did you sell off over the years?
' Got ' nothing.
Signed a 10 year note and paid off everything in 9 years 4 months. Made enough, saved enough to pay the last 8 payments in advance. Was a huge moment in my life.
Was the sole owner of the operation, debt free at 34 years old.
Meanwhile I witnessed several other owners go broke. The banks hung them out to dry. These guys were all older than me; and certainly thought they were smarter.
Only sold the land ( all in one gulp ) about 6 years ago at the insistence of my adult children; who wanted a piece of their inheritance up front. It was the right move ; greatly reduced potential inheritance taxes.
I met government types like you. They would want easements involving parts of our land, or be checking the animals for bovine tuberculosis, or just generally nosing around.
They all had four things in common.
1. They resented us; thinking we were too independent and envious of it at the same time.
2. Totally unwilling to take big financial risks in order to reach such independence.
3. Totally unwilling to work the 55-70 hours each week; to reach such independence.
4. They all loathed working for the government.
Will never forget this one young federal employee….David Lopez. He came by on a Saturday while I was hauling manure.
Dry manure was getting blown all over the place…..getting blown all over me.
Lopez exclaimed…..' If I owned this place I would never do that work. Getting manure on me….I would have one of my men do it '
I turned off the front end load and replied …..
' That's what you don't have anything '.
You guys who choose the ' safety net ' of a guaranteed paycheck…….hsve only yourselves to blame.
