Only know that Asian Americans ( generally ) are smart, hard working , disciplined and maintain a strong family support system .

MLK would have been disgusted at the notion of blaming white people for being white. He dreamed of a USA where people would be judged by the content of their character, not the color of their skin. And this dream he had went both ways; he never blamed white people for being white, he just wanted people of all races to have the same opportunities. And while we still may have a ways to go before all people all viewed equally by individuals in society, it is my belief we are moving in the right direction and there are many other factors that impact an individual's chance of achieving success than race. Those other factors might be disproportionately high within the black community, but the same factors impact people of all races, including white people. The only people that make it about race are the same people that have always made it about race, going all the way back to slavery. And rather than focus on the other factors that can be changed if a concerted societal effort is made, they would rather focus on the one thing that can't be changed - skin color.
