Since I made the claim, let me clarify. I don't think James Talarico is an outright demon, but demons use humans as vessels all the time, and there's levels to possession. Not every possessed person has a spinning head.

I'm not telling you to go out and study demonology, as it's a very dangerous topic, but don't be naive. The Catholic Church has exorcists, go listen to what some of them have to say if you're interested in the subject.

If you freaks think Teledaga is a demon, you are just nuts. By your weird definition. If that young fella is a demon, Trump is straight up Satan!

Talasicko is being called a "demon" because he's a wolf in sheep's clothing, using his position and "authority" as a "Christian" seminarian to legitimize his distortion of Scripture and the gospel, which ultimately deceives people into Hell. Criticism of Trump's character flaws is fair, but he doesn't even come close to pretending he's a Christian and using his influence to lead people away from true Christianity. Attacking and twisting God's plan of salvation so that people perish forever in Hell is the highest form of evil. It's exactly what Satan wants. Why do you think Jesus was so harsh against the unbelieving Pharisees? I actually don't think calling Talafreako a "demon" goes far enough. What he's doing is outright satanic.
facts

James 3:1
"Not many of you should become teachers, my fellow believers, because you know that we who teach will be judged more strictly."

Mark 9:42
"If anyone causes one of these little onesthose who believe in meto stumble, it would be better for them if a large millstone were hung around their neck and they were thrown into the sea."

Demons are real. But so is sinful human nature. Progressives for the most part are just godless hedonists. To be real, like most people without Christ. Progressives are just more depraved. Most sin in society is the absence of Christ in the citizens. The US society has always had its share of the depraved, but now it's openly celebrated, whereas before the participants tried to keep it hidden. The further society gets away from traditional Christianity the worst it is as a whole.

Leftist Christianity only has some of the trappings of the real deal. When they lie about God & Christ, blaspheme them, falsely attribute to them an evil agenda then it's difficult for one to see any genuine Christian faith.

He's probably not the Antichrist but he clearly is an antichrist, one of those false teachers Jesus warned us about.

Well not on the theological merits (Talarico would lose that fight as well)…I mean most people don't care about the actual theology outside this forum who are mostly college educated Christians interested in that kind of debate.

But being widely known as having "wack job" religious views of the particularly woke type is very off putting for average voters.

To win in a reddish moving to purple-ish State like Texas as a Democrat you want to come off as a down the road very normie moderate.

Not a far left progressive nut case.

The more regular voters hear about "the virus that white people carry" or how Mary carrying Jesus was an example of "pro-choice" behavior. Or off the wall stuff about "God is non-binary" so transsexualism is cool….the more his particular kind of hyper liberal modern religious theology becomes a serious electoral problem for him a the Democratic Party in Texas.

you are exactly right what is wrong with today's brand of political christiandom. I'm sure Jesus would definately say these are demons. I have never seen the devil at my Presby church.

how do you feel when you go into your church? How fast is your church growing? How much ministry has your preacher prepped you to do? How many miracles can you testify to in your church?

Serious questions..

How do I 'feel'? That doesn't really matter, does it. The validity of Christianity is based on truth rooted in historical facts, not feelings. But if you want an honest answer, it's like being a participant in the ending credits of "Raiders of the Lost Ark" where the Nazis open the ark and God shows up and you meet Him face to face without having to shield your face. That's the best description I can give you.

The church has doubled in size since Covid and has launched a 2 million dollar expansion campaign funded through cash to accomodate the overflow crowd.

The latest two miracles: A parishoner who was anointed as part of the sacrament of Holy Unction with stage 4 pancreatic cancer healed and is cancer free. We remained open during Covid, no masks, common cup communion, and lost zero parishoners to Covid (and we know, because it is Orthodox practice to append a short memorial "Memory Eternal" prayer service to the end of the liturgy when someone falls asleep in the Lord).

Sure, I'll respond. Actually, I agree with you. Too many christian congregations going through the motions . I can generally tell by vibe is the room is a place that makes room for the spirt. I did reflect on someone earlier who said church should be a house of prayer, not preaching. Interesting, that I go to Temple (Buddhist) as I live in a Buddhist Country just to pray. It is incredibly peaceful. We could learn something from our Buhhist Brothers and Sisters. They are generally unbelievable kind and their spiritual aura surrounds many. Whilst I'm Christian, this above about denominations (Presby) infiltrated by demons is just scary to me that someone can think that (each his own). Finally, as stated above, I'm Christian (presbyterian) when in the US, but through my travels, relationships with folks all over the world . Friend backs in Dallas that are Muslim and Hindu. Have many "Dallas Jews", as opposed to "Jews that live in Dallas". that was related to me by an attorney I had during my corp days. He was from Michigan , went to UT Law and was very observant. He coined the phrase which I have always thought funny. All this to say that I do not have all the answers, but I'm willing to bet many folks gonna be surprised should they make it to the afterlife.
