Trump is a brand that doesn't transfer to Vance or Rubio. They can only win if the GOP field is weak and the Democrats keep finding a way to max out on Stupid.
DeSantis had a chance in 2024, but he played his hand poorly and will have trouble getting financing for a long run.
Cruz and the other wanna-be's from 2016 have less chance than a dead dog.
Massie is all about himself and no one else, and that's starting to be obvious.
So a new face with credentials and backing can make a run. We just need to hope it's someone with backbone, principles, and a good plan.

Yeah, I'd agree with that. Desantis has been a great governor, maybe one of the best GOP governors in my memory. But he just doesn't have the skills and charisma to step onto the big stage and win in politics.
