In 1979 the USA was at peace with Iran. The Iranian Revolutionary Guard stormed the US Embassy in Tehran and took the employees hostage for 444 days. Since then, Iran has built up proxy groups to attack Israel and other Western groups. Examples: Hamas, Hezbollah, and Houthis. War is terrible, but Iran has brought this on themselves.

I would not blame Obama or Obamas puppet (Biden) if a sleeper cell attacked during their presidency. I would have blamed them for importing millions of Muslims and opening the borders, which allowed the sleeper cells to infiltrate our nation... but the action itself is 100% on the Muslim extremists in Iran, and their Muslim extremist proxies.

Trump informed Congress. Congress is going to pass a War Powers Act. This is not on Trump, he did what he was supposed to do.
As long as he follows the Constitution, works/respects with the other Branches of Government and the processes we have in place, he is POTUS and has the right to make these calls.
All internal security forces need to up their procedures. The whole thing HAS to work together to be effective. From the FBI (in charge of Domestic) to LEO (State and Local), to hospitals, infrastructure providers and other essential services. Processes are in place, communication protocols and response structures. Now, people just need to do their job and be aware. What comes now, is not on Trump but how we respond.
