Most of the suicide bombers have been people with nothing left to loose. They were usually poor, hopeless folks with no possible future.

I don't think the average Iranian soldier fits that category. I kinda doubt there are enough of them to mount an actual military campaign against a foreign group. Terrorist attacks... sure. Actual military assaults by hundreds or thousands of soldiers... I doubt it.

They would most likely commit suicide trying to stop an invasion force, which is why I will not support American troops on the ground... and why Trump is also opposed to it.

Not only a stagnant & declining number of kids being born… but devastating to families to lose their only child or one of their two.

Again...our goal is not to control that region but rather to keep anyone else from controlling that region. That means trying to keep Saudi, Turkey, Iran, Pakistan in balance with each other. That is a major (and as yet not well explained) factor driving this operation. Iranian nukes will make Saudi and Turkey, possibly Egypt, feel compelled to get their own. So to the extent one thinks its wise to avoid nuclear proliferation amongst the islamic states, then terminating an Iranian nuclear program is an imperative. Iran gets nuclear capability, then one of two things have to happen = either WE extend our nuclear protection umbrella over the entire Persian Gulf region, or we allow other Persian Gulf powers to have nuclear weapons. That's a "choose your poison" situation which can only be avoided by ending the Iranian nuclear program. And it is manifestly apparent that the only way to achieve a change in Iranian policy on nuclear weapons is to change the regime in Teheran. Ergo why we see Trump doing what he's doing. It's the logical, least-risk choice.
