Trump seems convinced this thing is over...hope so

Love him or hate him……totally agree with Trump's comment here.

Great Britain is a shadow of what it once was. Meaningless in the reality of modern warfare.

India is the up and comer.

Best focus on a solid alliance with them.

Common sense move under the circumstances.

We have been manipulated into a war ( again ) for Israel.

The only realistic option now is to win it.

You're something of a one-trick pony.

Even without Israel, we still be needed to deal with Iran. We are, after all, the Great Satan. Israel is only the Little Satan.

A nuclear-armed Iran was unacceptable to the United States.

A nuclear-armed Iran was inevitable with the government in place.

The window for doing something about it was rapidly closing.

Something has been and is being done about it.

American and Israeli interests overlap somewhat in this instance, but this action against Iran is definitely in America's interests.

On a broader scale, Iran aligned itself with Russia and China. Russia and China are not proving to be strong and reliable allies.

No surprise.

This is why occupying of countries while trying to bring them liberation and democracy almost never works.

Far better to just take out their military capabilities and their leadership…then deal with who ever comes next.

Because doing a good deed of spending billions of taxpayer dollars on them, building infrastructure, providing new constitutional protections, and providing security…is all a good deed that never goes unpunished in certain parts of the World.

Let's assume that's the case. If you are Iran, what do you do?

Having been duly elected, I, LIBBEARmani, make a sweetheart deal with China to rebuild the Iranian refineries and oil export facilities. I will keep so many chinamen in country, you'd think I was build the US railroads in the late 1800's.

It doesn't seem like the people are rising up yet

as usual, you have it exactly backwards. You are more loyal to Iran than to America. You defend them at every turn. You defend Hamas at every opportunity. You ignore Hizballah's butchers' bill.

It's unerring. You're America Last.

You wont find one post where I have shown support to Iran, Hamas, or Hezbollah...

Unless not celebrating death of innocent children is considered support in your demented mind...

Iran didn't disregard the nuclear agreement. We disregarded it and refused an even better agreement that was on the table a week ago.

A nuclear-armed Iran wasn't inevitable before, but it probably is now. Khamenei was the most significant opponent of the idea, and he's now dead. His son and likely successor is of a different opinion.

I can't imagine how anyone could be sure. Except the Israelis who probably have every building in Tehran bugged.

A horrible terrorist who was responsible for killing Americans is dead. That at least is a good thing.

The Iranian terrorists we're supporting against the regime are responsible for killing Americans too. So is the new leader we've installed in Syria. None of what we're doing has anything to do with stopping terrorism.
