Great Britain is a shadow of what it once was. Meaningless in the reality of modern warfare.

India is the up and comer.

Best focus on a solid alliance with them.

This is why occupying of countries while trying to bring them liberation and democracy almost never works.

Far better to just take out their military capabilities and their leadership…then deal with who ever comes next.

Let's assume that's the case. If you are Iran, what do you do?

Having been duly elected, I, LIBBEARmani, make a sweetheart deal with China to rebuild the Iranian refineries and oil export facilities. I will keep so many chinamen in country, you'd think I was build the US railroads in the late 1800's.

It doesn't seem like the people are rising up yet

Iran didn't disregard the nuclear agreement. We disregarded it and refused an even better agreement that was on the table a week ago.

I can't imagine how anyone could be sure. Except the Israelis who probably have every building in Tehran bugged.

A horrible terrorist who was responsible for killing Americans is dead. That at least is a good thing.
