One side issue is now that prices are so much higher, Russia is able to sell at a much higher price even after deep discounts. With the recent loosening of restrictions on them, they're likely to fortify their efforts against Ukraine, increase their market share, and end up handing China a strategic advantage in the interim.

Not to mention helping to fortify Iran's efforts against us. 5-D chess FTW.

LOL. You two.....

China has just lost 30% of its oil supply (from Venezuela and Iran) and it has no significant pipelines to Russia, which is losing its shadow fleet to Ukrainian strikes and US Navy interdiction.

The biggest loser of all in what Trump has done the last 60 days is China. He's engineered a catastrophic reordering of their strategic position - to their detriment. Should they decide to invade Taiwan, they now have existential vulnerability to sanctions with few options to overcome them.

China doesn't/didn't get 30% of its supply from Iran and Venezuela. They have about that reliance on Gulf state energy including LNG. But they had already shifted its sources beyond what Venezuela and Iran combined were providing to China. They began making that shift after the original nuclear facility strikes, most of it to Russia but the remainder to Saudi Arabia. They also doubled down on their strategic reserves setting aside nearly 1.4 billion barrels of oil, and have harbored 10s of millions of barrels as further reserves.

Russia already has a pipeline deploying to China with a second one in the works, so I'm not sure where you're getting your facts. China is also wearing out the Kosmino port which is a short ship transit, and just got deliveries via the new Artic route. It's like you think China, a country known for long term planning and strategy didn't counter move or has contingencies. They are not reactionaries like we practice here. Maybe we've clipped some access to black market oil, but Russia is rapidly picking up the slack. With prices headed where they are, both parties are incentivized accordingly.

Typo. I meant to say 20% which is about right. Now, add in all those places Iran is bombing in the PG and the number more than doubles. Those folks are now firmly tied to us.

The pipelines from Russia are not finished. Buber most carry gas not oil. They currently deliver about 30% of Chinas needs in NG.

So tell us again how losing Iran and Venezuela is no biggie to China, or how Russia concludes its war in Ukraine's free to export all the oil/gas it wants to China.
I already did. And you're crazy if you think the Trump admin is going to accept Ukrainian strikes that further strain global oil supply.

Still waiting on those apologies...

Apologies from whom and for what?

Not you.

The people who were calling me an anti-semite and hamas spokesmen for pointing out that we have blood on our hands for killing an entire school filled with little girls and that if the purpose of this is regime change, we are going about it in the worst way possible.

There wont be any apologies or mea culpas, however, bcs we are dealing with the most amoral, misanthropes on this board.

I don't know if these purported celebrations are real or fake, but either way they don't compare to Barbearian's crocodile tears over losing his great leader.

Yep

Poor idiot just lost his favorite Jew killer.
Barbearian is going to offer up prayers to Satan for the next Hitler to be protected from justice.

I hope you lose your favorite murdering jew, Netanyahu.

You and you Boomercon buddies are not the good guys. You represent at most 25% of this country and are facing a demographic cliff as you die off.

You guys killed an entire all-girls school today!

And you are just getting started!

Congrats!

Our resident jew-hating anti-American is really showing his colors today.

Israel mistakenly attacks a US warship, apologizes for it and pays restitution? They are our enemy.

Iran kills thousands of Americans, among which is an American govt official skinned alive, and steadily builds intercontinental nuclear weapons capability to strike the USA? They are harmless good people we must leave alone.

That is the world according to Ayatollah barBEARean, who proudly proclaims history teaches us nothing except that America's greatest enemy is the boomer generation that raised him.

Marxists think like that, being all "unburdened by what has been."

Here is one...

You are such an idiot, that you actually believe the Iranian propaganda outlets.

I hope that a school wasn't destroyed today, but even if that happened, it is entirely due to the Iranian regime and has nothing to do with us.

I'm sorry that you lost your Hitler, but don't worry... you will find another one soon.

Another one.

I think the question is, do we allow him to stay in power? Or do we keep degrading Iran's military to the point that an uprising can occur, and overthrow the mullahs? That seems to be the end game, according to the reports I;ve read. We are targeting their military infrastructure.

... and elementary schools.

except we didnt do it, Iran has admitted it was theirs, not ours

Tactfully wrong... but still wrong.

The U.S. just deployed a weapon that was supposed to stay classified for another decade. And it changes EVERYTHING about this war.

THE U.S. NAVY JUST USED A LASER WEAPON IN COMBAT FOR THE FIRST TIME IN HISTORY.

CENTCOM released footage of the HELIOS system mounted on a destroyer off Iran's coast. It's shooting down drones with LIGHT.

Here's why this is the most important military development since the atomic bomb:

THE PROBLEM:
Iran's $20,000 Shahed drones were bankrupting the U.S. defense budget
Every Patriot interceptor costs $3-4 MILLION
Every THAAD interceptor costs $10 MILLION
The UAE alone intercepted 755 drones + 172 ballistic missiles BILLIONS spent in ONE WEEK
Iran was WINNING the math. Spend $30K, force the enemy to spend $4M. Repeat.
That cost ratio was Iran's most powerful weapon

THE SOLUTION:
HELIOS runs on ELECTRICITY
The cost of firing it: less than your monthly electric bill
No missiles to reload. No magazine to deplete. No resupply ship needed.
Unlimited shots. As fast as light. Against a $20,000 drone.
Iran spends $30,000 per drone. HELIOS spends PENNIES to destroy it.

THE MATH JUST FLIPPED:

Before HELIOS: Iran spends $30K U.S. spends $4M to stop it. Iran wins.
After HELIOS: Iran spends $30K U.S. spends $0.50 to stop it. Iran LOSES.

Iran spent YEARS developing Shahed drone doctrine
The entire strategy was: "flood cheap drones, bankrupt the defense"
HELIOS makes that strategy OBSOLETE overnight
A weapon designed to bleed the U.S. dry just became target practice for a laser that costs nothing to fire

This is the first real combat test of directed energy weapons in history.

If it works at scale and early reports say it DOES then:

Iran's drone advantage = GONE
The 200-to-1 cost ratio = REVERSED
Every drone Iran launches = destroyed for pennies
Drone warfare as a strategy = DEAD before it even peaked
Every military on Earth that invested in drones = back to the drawing board

Iran just found out that the weapon it spent a decade perfecting can be defeated by a LASER running on a ship's generator.

The future of warfare isn't drones. It isn't missiles. It's directed energy.

And the U.S. just tested it in a live war zone.

Prepare accordingly.

Follow the biggest military technology shift since the nuclear bomb is happening RIGHT NOW.

Still another incredibly stupid thing to say by our commander in chief.

The guy will forever be his own worst enemy.

Ever consider Trump is reframing media attention?

Geez, this is not the way to do that. War is nothing to use as a gimmick, thousands have lost their lives and families destroyed. Bad taste ar best.

You say that because you frame everything as Trump screwing up.

Man's got a huge ego, but he does understand how media pivots change things.

Remember what i said about unforced errors?

I really don't pay attention to yours, FLBear.

BS, keep telling yourself that. You religiously comment on any string I am in. It is like clockwork. If I comment you will disagree or try to discredit. Deep down you know i am right.

< chuckles >

You really do project a lot.

For the record, we both tend to have interests in the same topics, so no, I post on the topic not because you are there.

Your antics are amusing, though, if sadly predictable at times.

Deep down you are either trolling or in serious need of a reality check.

Project? From you guys? A complement.

Means someone is disagreeing in your speak. It is the MAGA tactic, discredit or trivialize anyone that disagrees until they fall in line or go quiet. Things have pretty much played out as I have said.

I actually wish I was wrong but MAGA is not correcting. Trump is doing his usual pattern - great ideas, promising start, **** execution, go down in flames. I do give him credit for coming back, he is either a phoenix or cockroach!

I do find it amusing as well, which is why most of my stuff to you guys is in good humor. If I say the sky is blue, you say red. As nothing good can be blue since it is the Democrats color...
