On this thread, there's really no discussion of the actual war condition. Most of it is Trump haters jumping on every opportunity to mock the President. They don't care about the war or the facts, they just want to feel like they pissed on Trump and got away with it.

In some ways this is like Vietnam. LBJ made a lot of controversial statements, both in public and in private, but back then a lot more people respected the office even if they hated the man. The TDS crowd always puts their own emotions first.

You can easily make the argument that Russians biggest problem is the corruption within their military budget. When the equipment got tested in the battlefield, it didn't perform. Yet, all the cronies got paid.
